Good day everyone! I seem to have a huge problem... Every time i press "post to local" the toolset crash at around 80% and i can't seem to be able to fix it.

Also it seem (no idea if its a problem at my end or just a limitation) that you need to move alot of objects by your self... For example if i want to make a windmill i can't attach the wheel.

So do anyone have any solutions?

I haven't tried this with a windmill. But have you tried clicking the arrow button (standard selection), dragon the wheel near the wind mill and place it. Usually when there's things that are attachable in this game, you should see a blue "ball on the object you want to attach, if you click it it'll turn red and you can just drag it near the other blue ball on the windmill, it should attach... I hope that solves that issue.

And the post to local..are you a vista user? Did you install Python 2.5 and it's accessories yet? Do you have a lower or higher version of python installed? Or did you install python and it's accesories as well as eclipse ray?

About the windmill, i just can't seem to find a blue ball for the wheel (there is one for the door).

I have Windows 7 and i think i have Python 2.5 and eclipse ray. (still can't seem to make the light work). But it should be noted that i could do post to local before. At first i was thinking it had something to do with me placing alot of models on the level. So i began to remove alot of them. But i still can't seem to do a post to local...

Oh and my computer is:

8800GTX

Intel Core 2 Quad

2gb ram

so i think my computer can generate (or should be able to) the map.

As a test, create a blank all default exterior level (and please call it level as 'map' means something else in the toolset :police: )  and do all the minimum steps:
  • export area
  • ambient light
  • start point
  • Render Lightmaps
  • Build pathfinding
And then try to do a local post.  If it fails...I dunno.  Strange.  Reinstall maybe?  If it doesn't, then I would go back to the crashing level (but first make a backup) and start deleting objects one-by-one until you can post it again.  That's really the best I can come up with right now.

Edit: Missed that you had already started deleting stuff out.  Maybe nuke every model and then try?  Could also post the .lvl file to a project here and I'll try to post it to see what happens.
