O.K. I have max friendship for all my party members which also unlocks their ability if they reach full friendship. Does one friendship/rivalry ability only take affect one at a time or are they all affect me while they are in my party, or it still takes affect even though they are not in my party? For example, I have max friendship with Isabela which is 5% increase attack speed. Also I have a max friendship with Varric. Are both abilities activiated or is it one at a time? Also, I'm in a relationship with Isabela just to know if it is a factor contributing to the abilities.

I'll assume this question is a result of Isabella's ability showing up as active even when she is not in your party, which is a very well-known bug with gamebreaking results: if you load a save where her friendship ability is active but she is not in the party, upon rearranging your party you will lose the 5 points from your *base speed* -- this effect is cumulative and your Hawke will eventually become slow as a snail. You can stave off its effects by using the "Gather Your Party" horn as much as possible to remove her (and Sebastian if you have him, as he causes a similar issue) manually rather than allowing her to be forced out, and *never* loading a save *without* her in the party -- you can use whoever you want in the meantime, just always put her back in the party before you save. This can get annoying, but it seems to be working for me so far and the alternative is having an unplayably slow PC.  Also, whether or not you are in a relationship with Bela has nothing to do with it, just whether or not you have her friendship ability instead of rivalry/nothing.

All that said, to the best of my understanding: all acquired friendship/rivalry abilities should be active as long as that character is in the party -- more than one can be "active" at a time (up to all 3 members of your current party), but they should NOT be active if the character is not in your party. Hope that helps.

The first part I already know about. Shouldn't friendship/rivalry abilities should be shown in "Hawke" skill tree or they are already taken affect once you reach max friendship/rivalry without showing the abilties in the skill tree?

Oh, I see.  No, AFAIK the only ones that show up in the Hawke skill tree are the ones that directly affect Hawke's stats in some way (in other words, the ones that can bug out -- Isabella's, Sebastian's, and supposedly Aveline's.)  The others don't change Hawke's stats so they don't show up in his/her skill tree; but as long as the friendship or rival circle in a character's "specialization" skill set is lit up, the ability should be taking effect while that character is in the active party.
