I've seen lots of complaints about how much Anders has changed in DAII. I understand missing a favourite character but really, Anders isn't in DAII, is he? It's combo-Justice-Anders, by his own admission. Yes, sometimes we get more of one or another, but really it's a whole new character. Kind of a neat approach to a companion.
Thoughts? Er... flames? :innocent:
Anders, Justice, Janders...

He was ok and had some Anders from Awakening like traits up to the end of Act II. He changes a lot after his personal quest Dissent and in Act III. I approve Janders as much as Anders though.

Many of the complaints at least of the original is just how different the character is. This is of course blown up by if people loved or hated the character, his story and truly his actions in DA2. Personally I'm fine with it being a completely different character. Truthfully he has to be written well for how angry he made me in my first play through. I knew I saw it coming but it was still well done.
Some will complain because it gives them an excuse to argue. Sure I'd have rather they toned down his brooding and war mongering in Act 3 especially. Or at least slowed it down in Act 2, but it's Bioware's story and not mine. So I accept what they did with him. He just is my least liked of the companions. Doesn't mean he is a bad character. He does have a following afterall.
