So, didn't see the topic in the first couple of pages of the forum, bringing it back up.

How will the mage rebellion intersect with Flemeth and Morrigan's plans? It's way too much chaos for them to not exploit, and DA2 was meant to be a bridge to a crazy new Thedas.

One of my old theories is that Flemeth and Morrigan want to revive the Old Gods before the darkspawn find them, and use their presence to directly challenge Andrastrianism. Beyond Hawke, DA might tell the story of choosing between them, and their visions for a new world order. Flemeth, being ancient and aligned somewhat with the Dalish, might favor reviving ancient traditions, revisiting Arlathan and the Imperium, while Morrigan might fight for something much different. The player could basically choose between reviving a perilous past, unleasing a chaotic future, or perhaps reimposing the flawed present system by siding with the Chantry.

Which ever side is chosen, the mage rebellion would be a crucial aspect of the conflict, with the player (perhaps as the OGB) mobilizing the mages or the templars.

So, what do you think is next for Flemeth and Morrigan?

Well I played "Witch Hunt" and I thought it was going to factor into 2 where Morrigans child that she put int the mirror or whatever was going to be Hawke. After realizing Dragon Age 2 turned out to be a spinoff leading into a sequal....That went out the mirror <Lol>. All I know now is Her child is going to be like a dark savior. Flemeth on the other hand I know Morrigan wants permenantly killed but still is trying to find a defenet way to ending her since Flemeth is immortal. Flemeth I know isn't evil since she hates dark spawn like the next guy but isnt good either where she manipulates others to her whim and getting the task done.

Well, considering Flemeth is responsible for there being a mage-templar war, I'd say it's likely she'll exploit it, yes.
