Hi.
I just finished my DA2 game.
I took all the side quests available and was pleased with my work.
Until i read that if I slept with Isabella ( wich i did) and later with Merril ( wich i did) , i would only get to stay with Merril ( wich is pretty lame for the free-thinking Isabella). I went all the way to the end with both , despite later having made all that i could to get rid of Merril ( wich was wayyyy to clingy , and in the final scene before the battle kisses me) , and in the end , Isabella was with me and said she would always be by my side ( but didn´t kiss me , despite me helping her always and geting her Castillon boat ). And i was happy to hear Varic say she didn´t leave me , therefore imitating the trailer "extended ending" .
Now , i read that there is a bug with the ending , in wich Varic always says that you stay with Isabella!!!??

So... my question is , what happens differently if you just romance Isabella and get to the final scene with her?!!!

The bug flags whoever you romanced first... that person stays with you even if you end the romance, according to Varric. No idea how that will be addressed in the upcoming patch. And also, no idea how the ending romances work... never actually got to the end of one.

In my ending, the flag bug made Varric say Merrill and Isabella stayed with me (sounded like Merrilsbela), so I guess Hawke got them both ;-)

Instead of a bug... they should retcon that into a feature... you get to have TWO LIs in the next games
