But soon there will be. It seems fanboism has brought back Leliana, Zevran and Nathaniel!

We fanbios have won over lore and Bioware's gimmick of 'choice' and 'thousands of possibilities'.

David said that Zevran being alive is a bug and is being fixed. He said Leliana being alive is going to be explained. I didn't know there was a problem with Nate though.

Nate is also a bug. Leliana's the only one resurrected and according to Gaider it will be explained

Isn't Zev and Nate being alive a bug? I remember it being said somewhere but I'm too lazy to go look it up.

The only character who's potential death is a retcon is Leliana.

I'm fine with it, but I would be happy if the story were a Dragon Age series of novels and don't consider everything in my games to be sacred. As long as there's some basic respect for developing the material, it's all copacetic. As high-decibel forum rage suggests, I'm unusual in this, however.

This means there could be hundreds of Leliana's out there, she could be the Boomer/Athena of DA, does this mean Cassandra is number 6?

Does this mean Dragon Age will end with everyone living like cave men and dying of dissentry?

"War.. War never changes..

Since the dawn of human kind, when our ancestors first discovered the
killing path with rock and bone, blood has been spilled in the name of
everything, from God, to justice, to simple psychotic rage.

But it was not, as some had predicted, the end of the world. Instead, the apocalypse was just the prolouge to another bloody chapter of human history. For man, had succeded destroying the
world..

But war..
War never changes.."

I also wonder, if Leliana is a cylon, who out of the DA characters would be Baltar then?

I'm with Addai67 on this. I have several playthroughs, so which one should be canonical? I'm sure I don't know. I'd rather the devs and writers go with the results that produce the best game.

Don't touch Gaius Baltar! I adore Gaius Baltar!

Seriously, though, I have several playthroughs. Although I consider my Elf Mage and my Mage Hawke to be my canonical characters, I like the possibility of choice and I'd be happy if there was no canon at all.

Essentially DA3 is the story of Jowan becoming the voice of the resistance and using that power to dominate a cult of female blood mages.  Shortly after stumbling his way into political power he is worried that he will become another pawn of Flemeth's.  Flemeth sort of chuckles at him and wonders why she'd ever want such a useless pawn.  Leliana is in Jowan's head through it all.

I'd scoff but then if Decimus can be any sort of cult leader without being laughed off the stage I guess Jowan has a chance after all.

Anders' death in Awakening is explainable. Perhaps Justice bought him back to life.

But Leliana... Sure, if you left her in Lothering she probably escaped - but then why would she say that she served with the Warden, then?

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cylon_(re-imagining)

At least these are the Cylons referenced rather then the original 70's ones
