You can get the killing move proc when fighting Teagan when you first run into Connor using him as a puppet. After the combat is over? Teagan is back up and talking to you and Isolde.

See that fight was caused by a demon, so you THOUGHT you cut his head off, but when the demonic infuence is over, you see that you just beat the crap out of him instead.

Same thing with Leilana, you were high from the ashes and THOUGHT you killed her.

What, you guys are still going on about Leilana still being alive? I honestly think Baldur's Gate 2 handwaved the deaths even worse compared to DA2.

True, but Forgotten Realms had raising people back from the dead as a fairly standard occurrence (you even had the spells with your cleric to do it).

When DA came out one of the features was that there was no resurrection and that such an event would be a likely cause for a new religion (not saying it can't happen, but it would be a very big deal)

There is a canon. You just have to look very closely for it. It's very hidden in DAO and less so in DA2.

Cassandra has that sort of ruthless edge that I would associate with Roslin.
