Hello PS3 Dragon Age II players.

On April 26 Sony will be removing the Playstation 3 demo for Dragon Age II.  Sony removes all demos after a certain period of time as standard opparating procedure and the Dragon Age II demo's time is almost up.

The demo will remain available for PC and Xbox 360.

They don't remove their own demos... there's still the demo for Uncharted 1 on PSN posted in 2007! lol

I suppose I should see if I could get the demo downloaded on my brother's PS3, just so I can see how the "button mash attacks" feel.

I'm pretty sure demos can stay up longer if the publishers are willing to pay for it, but certainly Sony don't have to pay themselves.

Actually, I've seen some demos up on PSN for games that came out two three years ago. Maybe Sony's starting to run out of server space or something.

What I have found is that movie trailers don't stay up very long. I had the Scott Pilgrim trailer on my old PS3 before it died, and when I replaced the PS3, the trailer was no longer there to download, sniff sniff.

I have the game, so I don't need the demo, but it's strange that Sony is changing it's policy on demos.

I wonder if they will leave the demo up for a bit longer, since the PSN has been hosed for almost a week now.

I've had my PS3 since lanch never seen or heard of such a thing, alot demo's from 07 are still there
more like your agreement with sony, not sony's procedure

they never remove there demo of there games but games they dont produce will be removed

If you can, play the demo on PC - that's what I did and it unlocked for all 3 systems.

A lot of people don't have PCs that can handle DAII's requirements, not even the demo.

That's stupid, why remove demoes. If people don't know what a game is like on the PSN, then few people might not buy it for the PS3.
