Thank you BioWare. I apologize for doubting your actions and I am gratefully looking forward to Mass Effect 3. I really do appreciate the New Game + fix. Its nice to see you still supporting the game; were in good hands.

Every time I come to these forums all I hear is people whining and complaning about everything, oh I'm gonna trade in my copy, oh I'm gonna do that instead of playing bioware games, oh I'm not buying me3. Get a damn grip and grow up kids, nothing in life is perfect, nothing. There's always bugs in games, specially grand scale ones like ME and I'm sure the team does the best they can to deliver the best product possible as it has shown from my impressions. Acting like whiny crybaby little brats won't help in any way so just knock it off, like someone else already said it only makes the guys on the team not wanna come and talk at the forums. I'd like to say thanks bioware for the patch and I hope the sound issues can be solved.

Much appreciated Bioware, thank you very much. I might try out NG+ instead of creating a brand spanking new character for my insanity run.

As for the sound sync issues at least it's only annoying and not as fustrating as losing your game saves.
Can't wait for ME3

I just cheeked and the patch is still not out in the US. I wonder if Bioware got word to Sony to delay it to fix the genesis glitch that has occurred since its release in the UK?

I really hope it's an easy fix and I'll get to import my Vanguard finally.

HI I downloaded today my v1.02 patch and upgraded the game for PS3. I started a new game and Played with the interactive comic choosing kaiden alenko to survive. But it seems nothing I choosed on the Comic modifies the game. The question they keep asking me while we're off the Lazaru's station heading to meet the Ilusive Man is the same, "Why did you choose kaiden alenko to die?".....

I bet this is a problem with the new patch, It didn't happen before.

Thanks for your time, hope you can fix this minor bug ASAP since it messes up with your previous history on ME1.

Do you live in the US or UK? Just want to know if it is out in the US yet.

I live in Spain, but please tell me if you have the same bug. I want to know if I can keep up with the story line I build in ME1, since "every" decission taken at ME2 will affect ME3...

Thanks for the patch, but bugs/glitches barely fazed me.

It still doesn't solve the fact that it would be best to call the PS3 version Mass Effect 2: The Loading Edition.

I've timed it: from the moment I choose 'resume game' to the moment I can actually play: 3 minutes and 45 seconds. That's unacceptable.

Wow really i have never had it take that long ever. And since i have installed Arrival the load times have actually decresed it takes about 20 seconds now to go from floor to floor on the normandy now. Huge improvemnet from the minuite or more it used to take. Supposly it was the first patch that fixed this but i did not see much of an improvment in loading times at first maybe installing arrival had the patch fully kick in? lol

It's more or less fine now between missions, but it's still a pain in the ass to switch decks on the Normandy.

Thanks for the patch :) I was surprised when I started downloading one, so popped back in here to see what the deal was. Maybe now I can finally turn the EA connect option back on :-p (I turned it off when I had my crashing issues and problem was fixed...dunno if it was a coincidence, but I just kept it off after that)

I don't usually post on forums, i usually just read them to keep up to date. But I'm going to break my dry spell to both thank bioware for the patch and to sincerely apologize for the uncalled for aggression by most of these members on here. Believe me, I work in customer service, so I know what a pain it can be dealing with idiots. Just please note that despite what some aggressive, impatient, moronic people have said, we love the game, appreciate the patch, and can't wait for more patches and info on Mass Effect 3. Keep up the great work, you guys are the best in my book.

How on earth did Bioware create a 'patch' that creates another problem, where's the testing, and while I understand they are run by different sections, this kind of 'patch' coupled with the major issues in DA2 make me wonder if Bioware was taken over by Blizzard.

aside from the well known problems (dialogue, genesis etc) are there any new problems with the game?

Thanks for the patch, those were some critical bugs you fixed, but not even close to all the critical ones. Load times are subjective, but not the sound sync. And mentioning this over and over is most definitely not whining. I cannot name another game in this entire generation which has something even resembling the downright horrible sound sync in this game.

When Iron Man 2 The Movie game has higher quality control than Mass Effect 2 on PS3, somebody should be getting fired, imho. You say the recent patch does nothing for the PS1 textures on Overlord, but is this impossible to fix or something to be tackled later? And not a word on another patch or if the sound can be fixed at all.

This game is a crushing waste of time on PS3. It started with the literal promise from Bioware itself of being the best port, and now its literally in the top 3 worst PS3 ports of the entire generation. Its really, truly become a joke. I know you guys have the 8 billion pound gorilla Star Wars MMO sucking up all your talent, time, money and people, but remember your own IP's in the shuffle to cash in, will ya? The PS3 Mass Effect port and Dragon Age 2 on all platforms are unfinished messes. Welcome to consoles, there are no fan mods to finish your games for you.

A lot of complaints here, but for this is a FABULOUS game. Sure, there are still some major issues to be addressed:

1. The Flying Shepard (although this hasn't occurred for me since this patch).
2. Audio issues. This is a major issue that should be addressed. really hurts the experience and is a real problem for my during the suicide mission. I've played it 3 times and still haven't heard hardly any of the dialogue. Good thing for the subtitles option.
3. Load times. Not a big issue for me. Treat them as commercial breaks ;)

Other issues are minor and don't detract from the experience IMO.

Overall though, a FUN time. :-)
