I noticed in the second 'Making of' video we see a badass cutscene of Mage Hawke BBQing the Arishok. Is this possible in the final game? Influenced by Hawke's personality perhaps? If not, there must be a good reason for removing something so awesome, I suppose.
The scene in question: (skip to 1:37)
Frying the Arishok

Its what happens if your Hawk is a mage.

I've completed the game twice as a mage and this scene never played out.

Possibly not implemented, like Hawke's reaction to his sibling's death in some trailer thing.

I suddenly wonder what qunari bacon would taste like.

Hmm. Perhaps it is based on whether or not you faced the Arishok in single combat? Did you reject the duel and instead opt to fight his retinue with all of your party members?

I think it has to do with fighting him in single combat or not.

Maybe you have to be a "Red Hawke" to fry him.

In both my play throughs my Hawke saw the Arishok was down for the count and just walked away. So I'm thinking its a red Hawke thing.

I've only fried him when I refused the duel.

I think I was just fighting him. I had just got the respect of the Arishok achievement.
IIRC i had fought the 4 guards, then there was a conversation then he attacked me by himself and me and my party killed him.

I fried him twice, as nice and as sarcastic hawke, both times after fighting him with my party.

Yeah you get it if you dont duel him and fight all the Qunari.. Doesn't have anything to do with your Hawkes personality or whether you have respect

Yep. It's this. I got this on my first playthrough because I didn't have Fenris with me and Isabela didn't come back so no one on one duel.
