To see choices really impact the game and actually see the outcome later...not just have everyone just go *missing* as a end story >:|

I want EA to give Bioware the time and resources it needs to make this franchise the best it can be. Sorta like Dead Space and Battle Field and Mass Effect gets.

I, for what it's worth, would like more choice in the outcome of the story and for what I did previously to actually matter. For example in DAO I killed Leliana and Zevran, yet they were both alive and kicking in DA2 and regardless of the choices I made throughout DA2 it had barely any impact at all on the ending. [I'd like to note that there is no way to debug to remove leliana at the end I've tried.] Other than that little mini rant I'd Suggest the following:
1.Deeper character interaction. To be specific I'd like to know more about them be able to have random conversations with them and generally care more about them. Killing Anders was not really that heartbreaking. I like to be able to feel the characters and in DA2 it just didn't seem to be there.
2.More open enviroments. I'm not just talking about making it less like ME1 with reused interior after reused interior, but maybe the ability to move from place to place on foot.[Iknow this is unrealistic and probably quite difficult but I'd like to see it.]
3.The ability to create cross classes. At the moment if you start as a warrior you're stuck as a warrior. I know the DA world doesn't exactly lend to this idea, but if this isn't achieveable I'd at least like to see a return of the arcane warrior class/Spirit warrior.
4.A revamp of the GUI IMHO it just looked out of place in DA2. Don't get me wrong it was streamlined and effective, but it just didn't look as well suited to the fantasy setting as DAO's GUI did.
5.A greater variety of weapondry/armour or more varied looking weapons/armour. Some of the armour/Weapons in DA2 looked awesome but most of it was the same[I may not have been looking hard enough] I'd like to see some more unique weapons/armour and if possible some differnent types. [Pikes, Throwing knives, Halberd's]
6.The story and Characters to not be completely ignorant of your chosen allegence or specialisation. This is a serious story hole in DA2 [for me] There were numerous occasions where as a mage I performed Blood Magic in the presence of templars "Against" fellow blood mages only to then turn around and condemn my mage brethren for their vile use of blood magic and the templars to smile and thank me for my service. No offense but I just don't think that they'd of let that fly.
7.The ability to talk your way out of trouble and the return of the persuasion skill. I liked being able to lie to people and intimidate others into doing my bidding.[Will never beat the ability to force choke some idiot into giving you respect but hey it DA] I'd like not every problem or quest to be solved by whipping it out and killing everyone. The quest in DA2 where you get your champions hood [I forget what it's called off the top of my head] is a prime example of this. A skilled negotiator could probably have talked his way outta that or at least changed the outcome, but alas no. This was maily due to the "Ima gonna be killing you now as otherwise I'll get far less or no xp and be weaker for it sorry buddy" game mechanic. As the "Champion" of peace and justice I'd of liked to of at least had the option.
8.This ones simple I'd like the ability to zoom all the way out to an Isometric view like I could in DAO. Judging where to cast AOE spells and abilities was difficult up close and near on impossible if the character you were using was a long way away from the main battle.

10.This is more personal preference than anything I really expect but....I'd like to be able to choose the location the game uses to store the DA2 folder with Characters logs packages etc. I keep my "My documents" on an External Drive and DA insisted on saving it to C:\\users\\my Docs instead of where it actually was supposed to be. I'd just like those that do choose to not clutter their OS drive to have the option to store game data elsewhere.[I know it's never gonna happen cause I had the same argument with Origin Tech support but a man can dream right.]

15.Although I blame my friends NVIDIA for the terrible perfomance of my graphics driver[580gtx can't run DA2 at Max my dwarven beard], I still feel that the game was not quite as pretty as it could've been. That said I don't care that greatly about graphics, I mean I still play KotOR and that looks hideous now, but In some ways I thought the art style in DA2 was worse than DAO and some areas were just missing something in my opinion.
16.I'd like game format permitting the ability to switch weapon sets back again. In DAo I played a Rogue who moved fluidly between bow and swords depending on opponents throughout a battle. In DA2 this was very awkward, not to mention the fact that I often found my guy wielding thin air in his right hand. If in the next one we could assign different abilities to different sets aswell that'd be pretty cool.
17.I'd like the ability to be able to interact with cutscenes, like in ME2, but in a more varied way. Instead of straight good or evil interventions that help out maybe have some that could be down to player judgement. For example in ME2 all of the paragon or renegade actions helped you in some way, but what if they didn't? What if throwing a knife into at the Hostage takers head didn't kill him and make the enemy weaker. What if he was skilled enough to catch it and as a result kills the hostage and sends his men to kill you while he escapes. Ths could change how your mission/quest pans out. You could take it further and have these "intervention" actions determined by the governing skill or a companions skill. Maybe your big brute warrior can't talk down the nasty pirate but perhaps your bard companion will have more success. Its just an idea but I think that would be pretty damn cool.
Well thats me done. I think thats everything, naturally not everything I've said everyone will like but I hope that at least some of what we've all come up with ends up in the game. I have faith in bioware that they'll make a great game and that even if not everybody likes it it will still be an experience to remember.

what i want i dragon age 3 is more hawke and what hes up to after kirkwall and since i romanced merril at the end of the game varric said merril was the only one coming with me.so whatever characther you romanced in dragon age 2 should follow you to dragon age 3.AND ALOTS OF WEAPONS AND GENLOCKS AND A ****LOADS OF ARMOR

hmm i want them to devlope the mage a little more i like the forge or force idk which it is the telkinect powers xD on the mage. i think mages should be able to choose if they are blood to summon demons might make the game interseting. for warriors i want the Duel wield back not sure y they decided warriors didnt need duel wield in DA2, understand the sword and board for tnak but some ppl like me prefer duel swords for DPS rather then a sing 2h sword not to mention i often think duel wield is faster then a 2h swing. as for the rogues work a little on the archey tree if u make hawk an archer ur limited on shots oh bring back shatter shot from DA:O as a knock back for DA2/3. now for companions id love to see aveline come back (girl tank is awsome not worried about flowers and ponies xD) isabella well shes a toss up for me atm mt definetly want to see varric again. i fis the tme flamming wepons from DA:O when u enchanted them, speaking of enchantment DEFINTELY KEEP BODAN AND SNADAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i still laugh everytime i play DA:O and DA2 when he talks. i read earlier on that some one wants to continue the warden i think thats due able cuase if i rember wardens lives 30 years give or take so DA2 takes 10 years so u still have 20 years to play with on the warden if ur sticking to ur orginal thing on them how ever i wouldnt mind some monkey wrench thrown in there that extends that. also i think it they will need to wrap up both the warden and Hawke assuming of course u didnt kill ur warden fighting the arch demon. oh yeah and i wanna know what the hell happend with that god baby and morrigan. i like how they simplified the armor to only 3 categories how ever they need to distunguish types a little better. if were going to set DA3 up to where u can start a new character then switch back to where u can choos dwarf and elf as well. and i still want that spell we saw in the trailer the one where its fire and 2 arms come out and rip the arishock aparrt. also i think the main characters houst/camp what ever should be a little more like the normandy several rooms to explore and interact xD

most importantly i want the Warden to come back as a main character in DA3 and as previosly mentioned the warden has only 20 years to live and perhaps that will be one of the possible turning point in the game for example:
- because the hero of ferelden slew the archdeamon and the soul from the archdeamon traveled through him it may have accelareted the taint so the he/she may have only 10 years to live so this can open up a good story because now you have accept death and that makes you stronger.
I want the similary gameplay from origin back where you kan block incoming attacks and perform a finishing move like cutting of heads or pierce someone with the sword than later bash with the shield. but it should be faster and have a mix of Dragon age 2 but i don´t want to see again how an enemy explode by simply using a sword. Mages ARE going to keep there attack moves
The location should be in Orlais because it usually mentioned and Bodhan and Sandal is going there. I hope to see the tevinter imperium where you might help to start a slave upprising, it could be nice to return to ferelden and see what has happened the last 10 years.
Then it is the companions and the familiar faces that i want to see in DA3. I want all character from DAO to return for example: Allistair who ís king of ferelden, morrigan because it would be interesting to see what happend to her and the child, is the child a Blessing or is it the new threat that the Grey wardens fear. I want to meet Lelianna again because what happend between her and my character because i Romanced her, is she looking for a the only one who can stop a war or is she looking for her long last love. The last one is that i want to meet Sten once again because he is a qunari who returned to his people and you must prepare for a Qunari inavsion. He may be a friend or he is compelled to follow the qun and must fight the hero of ferelden.
Then the plot should be to stop a a war or fight against the orlesian in order to defend Ferelden. then you will probably continue your mission as a warden.
The first warden stands before the hero of ferelden and says:
"You have a duty as a grey warden"
"I HAVE A DUTY AS A NATIVE FERELDEN" you shout back. " I will DEFEND ferelden with all my might"
The first warden is looking very frustrated and says:
" The Grey wardens don´t interfere in politics! he says.
" Is that so.......Then you have my resignation as warden commander of vigils keep and my position as a warden you say with determination.
The first warden looks at the Hero of ferelden with a irritatated face and says:
" This isn´t a assembly group, you cant just leave"
You take one step closer to the warden commaner and are 1 meter from him then you say mith a confident and intimidating voice:
"Watch me!" and then you storm out from the Grey warden HQ in Orlais

they mentioned grey wardens use to ride griffons id like them to add one in that the warden has to find
be a fun side quest or dlc cuase its not important to the story persay just a fun quest. also i do love the finishing moes from DA:O like when u stab with one dagger then chop the dudes head off with the other
(srry violent tendacies showing) and im hoping bodan and sandal to pop back up and i prefer the DA2 mages over DA:O only ucase the combat is more intuitive, as for the mage and templar conflict i think if in fact we do orlais as the location have like the MAster circle or something like a grand mages circle xD, oh and celiene or w/e her name is we will have to see the empress of orlais xD,

More save points between cut scenes and time to pick up all your loot after a fight before the cut scene steps in and takes you out of the area...

i agree the orgins icons were easier to tell what something was, also the chapion armor art was a let down, only one that was decent was the mage the others need work and some the of the armors didnt give me the feel of bulk metal armors like in DA:O, also wheres the custimaztion for the mabari in DA2?

Our Grey Warden should be allowed to live as long as he or she wants. Remember the blood mage that is a grey warden at Soldier's Peak? That dude was at least 200years old. He extended his life with blood magic. I want that option. And I remember I spared his life and asked him to do more research into darkspawn blood and he told my warden that he'll get him something in a few years before he disappeared.

but i think they havent completed the wardens story yet, ur warden has slayed or u forced someone else to slay the archdemon ur already the warden commander if u played through Awakening and im not spoiling anything the they call u warden commander from the start. u killed that brood mother and either dpared or killed the arichtect but i get the feeling its not done yet, theres still alot more to the story and even if bio ware doesnt im sure their are moders out there that will make something to complete the wardens story

I want them to bring back the Heraldry of shields maybe make it the where you can do it to ur armor as well but definetly shields plain shields are boring although in DA2 they di get somewhat inventive with the shields i still miss have the double griffon on my shield

What I'd like to see in DA3, in no particular order:
A consistent storyline running through the whole game instead of breaking it up into a handful of adventures that are linked primarily by geography, with important decisions being reconciled within the game.
Magic items with unique names.
Suits of armour that can be pieced together in the same quest instead of having to go through a whole chapter to lay hands on a full suit, and a larger range of options for the matching sets rather than just the one each chapter.
More opportunities to talk to companions without being required to go and visit them at their home, it makes no sense that you can't have a conversation while walking along the streets. Although private subjects should still need to be addressed privately.
Not being presented with a horny mage (or anything else really) and two dialog options that encourage his advances and a third that insults him. That's not fair to anyone.
Leliana, in her new position, and possibly referencing any relationship she had with the Warden Commander in DA:O.
A new protagonist, so that I can start off at 1st level again.

I want the ability to use armor on my teammates even if it isn't shown physically or each person has a variation on that armor.
I want sheath for swords and weapons so they aren't floating an inch or two of the backs of the characters

i was thinking if DA3 will have the warden as the main character then i have a suggestion that The hero of ferelden will have a special power that its called "Grey warden might". That power will be allow a Warden to unleash the taint at the enemy and filling the enemys head with the horror of darkspawn corruption.
But i want the orign gameplay to return with a little faster and agile movment, because the orign gamplay was much fun because it was more realistic.

I would like fewer longer ability trees. I felt that in Dragon Age 2 there where far too many. And I really want a necromancy ability tree and an expanded blood magic tree that includes abilities to summon demons.

I want to go to Orlais and/or Tevinter. I want to see more stories of Thedas and the political scene, no Grey Wardens and Darkspawn, getting in the way. I liked the armor system for the party and them having their own weapon style, it would be cool to meet someone else with a unique weapon like Varric. I preferred the storytelling in DA2, so I would like to see them keep that up. I would expand on the friend/rival bonus, by having an extra tree for each one, instead of just the stat bonus.

One thing I would positively love to see in DA3 if it isn't addressed in a patch for DA2 is that when you target an enemy your character follows it through till directed otherwise, sometimes the target either moves a step away or gets flung away from you and instead of following through your character stands there like a dimwit till you realise and redirect them...
