A mass murdering somewhat weak 2 handed fighter that acts like a jackarse? Yeah, I'd still take him over the Arishok.

When I first started playing DA2 my brain box was only half full because when I was fighting some Qunari I mouse over 'Sten' and I say to myself. Hey! This is Stens cameo? I'm going to have to kill him? (What a dork.)

Sten is Sten. He can be nothing else. There is no social or career progression within the Qun.

Anywho, if they decide to rewrite the fact that Sten is only allowed to be Sten and make him Arishok, I will cry. Why? Because I believe that if we see Sten again we will have to kill him. I don't know why I think that, but I do.

Where has the game ever indicated that Sten could only ever be Sten? According to his role in the Qun, Sten can only ever be warrior, but it's absurd to suggest that his [/i]rank[/i] within the military was set in stone at birth (or early childhood), as well.

Sten's hornless, that means his job is to go to other countries and find stuff out.


Plus, they clearly pick their arishok based on horn size, which leaves sten veeeery behind in line for the job.

Initially I read "Please make Sandal the new Arishok" I liked that motion better.
Also, Sten cannot be the Arishok. He is rotting in a cage in Lothering as of right now. By now his bones and everything else that might remain of him has sunk into the ground.

I would be mightily conflicted. Gah! I do have fond memories of Sten every time one of the Qunari yells "this is taking too long!" in battle.

Sten is sten because that is what he is. He can't be an arishok because his role in society is to be a sten.

I doubt that Sten would appear in DA2. He is a Qunari from Seheron, the ones from DA2 are from Par Vollen. They have grey skin, while Sten would have the bronze skin from Origins.

At least that is what I hope.
