I've got a spot where after talking to Tali, it will go to a black screen. I can hear sound, but that's all.
I can press the PS button to quit the game.

It seems like it would be the time when I would see a "saving...don't turn off your system" message as the conversation has ended.

It's not a game breaker for me at this point, becuase I've completed the story and I'm just going for side missions and dlc.

Don't know if there is anyway to resolve it, but I wanted to let BioWare know, in case others are getting the same thing.  (I know it happened at the citidel for some other people).

ps. I did not have any black screen freezes in the 30 or so hours before getting the arival dlc.  The point at which I am talking to Tali doesn't seem to have anything to do with the DLC, but I thought I would mention that.

Additional Info:  When the black screen happens, I'm still able to press start and see the menu!  I can walk around "in the dark" and then check the map to see where I am.  I could try to save but I don't want to chance a corrupted save.

I'm having a problem like this as well. Whenever I start Tali's loyalty mission, the cutscene plays then a black screen appears with music playing and nothing else. Now this is game breaking cause I can't do the mission at all. I've tried leaving, reloading to an earlier save, doing more missions past and checking back. Nothing has worked...

I had a similar issue, but instead it was at the bar in the Citadel, after I drank the krogan liquor. I was supposed to be spawned in the bathroom, relieving myself of acid, but the screen turned black and only music played. I restarted my PS3 and the game played as if nothing had happened; good as new
