2)Leli vs Bianca - tough one. Leli can distract people with her singing and pink sparkles, and Bianca is practically a machine gun. I'll pick Bianca.

4)Fenris - quicker, younger and has more lyrium in the veins - and let's not forget "magical fisting" thing
5)Anders - raging abomination vs. frail lady with spiritual connection, getting weaker every day - sure, she has impressive willpower, BUT Vengeance Mode.
6)Zevran - Crow + experience in assasinating + impressive experience in staying alive
7)SHALE - not a lot of Sebastian after this one

1) Aveline vs Alistair - Aveline would terrify Alistair into instant submission.

2) Leliana vs Varric - Leliana's a seeker now it would seem, and Varric obviously didn't fare too well against Cassandra! So Leliana.

3) Morrigan vs Merril - hopefully a draw and they'll both KO each other at the same time

4) Fenris vs Oghren - Fenris will win, but only if they don't both end up getting drunk together first and joining Varric in the Hanged Man for a game of cards.

5) Anders vs Wynne - Justice will win! He'll activate abomination-mode as soon as Wynne starts preaching about the Circle's necessity.

6) Zevran vs Isabela - agree with the consensus that this duel would involve more tumbling than fighting.

7) Shale vs Sebastian - Shale  wins. Definitely.

1. Aveline. She's just a stronger close up fighter than Alistair. He's my bro but Aveline would kick his ass.
2. Leliana. It's a draw at range but if it ever got close Varric would lose his head.
3. Morrigan. Simply more powerful and experienced than Merrill. Plus she's evil enough to want to hurt someone as adorable as Merrill.
4. Draw. If it was Sten vs. Fenris, Sten would wipe the floor with the puny Elf weakling.
5. Anders. Wynne is getting up there.
6. Isabela. She would seduce Zev and then slit his throat when his guard is down.
7. Shale. What are arrows and a self rightous attitude going to do against a freaking golem?

Ughh I dunno, can I go for draw? In all reality, i think it would come up as a draw. I mean, he's a Grey warden and she's guard captain and a great warrior in her own right, but so is Alistair...

2) Leliana vs. Varric - No one beats Bianca!

3) Morrigan vs. Merrill - Morrigan

4) Oghren vs. Fenris - Fenris!! For sure.

5) Wynne vs. Anders - I would say Wynne in her prime would have beat the cr*p out of Anders just because he's a whiny annoying idiot. yeah, im not biased at all

6) Zevran vs. Isabela - I say draw

7) Shale vs. Sebastian* - Umm, Shale because Sebastian's arrows would deflect right off of Shale's golem armor.

So, let's hear! Who would win?

* I pittem them against each other for two reasons: 1. They're both DLCs and 2. I'd like to see Shale crush Seb's skull

1. Alistair's good, but not as good as the woman shaped battering ram. She gets kicks of this sort of things.
2. Have you seen or heard Leliana? Varric wouldn't know what hit him.
3. Merrill would soil herself at the sight of a real Witch of the Wilds. "YOU WILL LEARN TO FEAR ME!" Yes, ma'am.
4. Dragon ****** vs. Agreggio Pavali. Oghren wins the drinking competition, if winning means passing out pantlessly and Fenris slitting his throat.
5. I think Anders has the age advantage. Then again these are healers so this fight may never end.
6. No fight. They read Izzy's friend fiction in bed and giggle.
7. Seb distracts Shale with shiny, summons the Maker and his Starkhaven army and still loses.

Good point. Dog has also been chewing on darkspawn for years since the Warden picked him up without any known ill effects. Dog is practically immortal.

Except if you play HN he was a housepet there too.

I got twenty two on Merrill, going with the underdog always pays out big. When we going to throw down so I can get some money, i'm hurtin' here brother.

1) Aveline, thanks to her military background, she seems a more focused fighter than Alistair. If only Dragon Age's tanks wouldn't be so whiny...but I digress.

2) Leliana. Bard/Spy training Vs Dwarven gunslinger/gangster (sorta). Leliana, hands down, more versatile. Varric's awesome but if forced into melee fight he wouldn't look as cool. Just stabbed.

3) Morrigan if she quickly gets the upper-hand on Merrill - considering her innate wickedness, she'd probably win. Otherwise Merrill. Giant spiders make up for huge blood fountains when you're into slitting your wrists during a fight.

4) Oghren. He beats things to a pulp, passes out and then asks questions (and he's even capable of defeating two ogres by himself, according to Awakening). Plus, he's got Asschabs.
That's if Fenris doesn't cheat with the phasing thing - a weakling's last resort, though

5) Wynne vs. Anders. Dunno, I'll pass, never really used any of them in my teams.

6) Zevran. I see Isabela's dueling abilities more suited for taking on multiple targets. Pun unintended... or not.

7) Shale. "Oh, shiny!". Sebastian runs for cover but ends up beneath a Chantry's ledge, where pidgeons usually gather. Squashed to death after being used as a ladder to reach the birds.

Although Alistair did take down Loghain, I think Aveline would beat him

2) Leliana vs. Varric
I think Varric would win if Leli was archer specced, but melee/stealth Leli would take him

3) Morrigan vs. Merrill
Merrill lacks Morrigan's killer instinct. I think Morrigan would take her.

4) Oghren vs. Fenris
Dwarf toughness would bring Oghren to victory here. Plus all he has to do is breathe on Fenris and Fenris would go down.

5) Wynne vs. Anders
Anders would win this fight, unless Wynne used an introduce kitten spell.

6) Zevran vs. Isabela
It'd be a pitched battle lasting all the night. Isabela would manage to get on top, but in the end they'd call it a draw.

7) Shale vs. Sebastian*
Nothing beats Shale

2) Leliana.  Varric may have the Crossbow of Ultimate Death, but Leliana can actually heft a couple of blades

3) Morrigan-- at least if she gets wounded, she can heal herself

5) Anders -- Wynne was always bugged in my game, and would head off to staff-hit darkspawn all by herself

6) Zevran vs. Isabela  -- a lot of tie-breakers of the reach and flexibility kind.

7) Shale -- I'd buy popcorn for this one

         Aveline.  I think Alistair would try to go easy on her and would quickly regret that mistake.

2) Leliana vs. Varric
         In a fair fight, I don't know.  But Varric would puff his chest out and Leliana would swoon away under the influence of the chest hair and Varric would thus win.

3) Morrigan vs. Merrill
        Come on, it's Morrigan.

4) Oghren vs. Fenris
        I feel like Oghren would underestimate the skinny little elf and find himself Kalima'd.

5) Wynne vs. Anders
        Wynne is a little old lady.  And if it came down to a spirit fight, Vengeance/Justice could kick Wynne's friendly spirit's ass.

6) Zevran vs. Isabela
        Neither, because they would obviously start having sex mere seconds into it.  Or maybe both.  They would both count it as a win, I'm sure.

7) Shale vs. Sebastian
       I can't imagine arrows would bother her much.  Squish.
