Plain and simple, I'm curious about what resolution most people play NWN in. So what about you?
What resolution do you play NWN in?

1440 x 900 on my old home Mac. That was the first one which allowed me to open 3 panels (like 2 inventories + 1 Character sheat) at the same time on one single screen. I was almost in shock, after playing with 2 only for years. I just didn't know it was even possible...

Currently 1920x1080 which is the max that this 24 inch flatscreen can display. I was normally playing at 1600x1200 on my old 21 inch monitor but the picture tube finally blew out last month. I know I sure miss the 1200 height. These darned flat screens just don't allow that unless you go with something like a 26 inch monitor.

1920x1200 24" LCD for several years now. 1600x1200 on my old CRT forever before that.
I had a 30" 2560x1600 screen for about a week and it was freaky at that resolution. Did not slow down as much as I thought it would, but the screen had too many issues so I returned it to Dell.

I also play at WUXGA (1920x1200) on a 24" monitor on my desktop machine. BTW, you can still get WUXGA on 24" monitors (e.g. this Dell U2410), but it drives me crazy that true WUXGA is practically gone from laptop machines that one can buy.
That 30" setup sounds sweet!

I can tell you that I searched locally (had to purchase directly since my monitor was dead so no online access) at Best Buy, Circuit City, and HHGreg, and none of them had the 1200 high resolution monitors in stock, and all claimed that they would NOT stock them. They said I could order one, but I needed that monitor that day... Oh well. Such is life I guess.

Only a few months ago, I was playing the game on 1280x1024 on an old, old, very old, superduper old, 17" monitor. Went and bought a new monitor, so now its 1920x1080

I play in 1368 x 768 on my 32" LCD TV, which unfortunately doesn't support any larger resolutions.

I use a 21.5 inch Dell LCD screen that has 1920x1080 resolution, but I find that running NWN on that res makes everything too small, particularly the quickslot bar at the bottom. So, I play NWN at 1280 x 720.

1440x900 in windowed mode on an Acer 20" LCD. I've also found that going too much bigger makes everything really, really small.

Are the folks play at non native resolutions because things are too small, turning on High Res fonts (in advanced video options)?

Mine was 1024x768 for about three years. I guess when I began playing NWN I chose that resolution because the font is already small enough in that resolution and gets even smaller with higher resolutions. Either I didn't know about the High Res font or (more likely) I didn't like its look. Or maybe my old monitor didn't allow for a good high resolution. I never ever thought about the resolution again during the last three years, not even after switching the monitor last year, until a few days ago.
Now I'm running NWN at 1680x1050 which seems to be the best resolution possible with my monitor. I still prefer the look of the native font but it's only a minor nuisance compared to the advantages the new resolution offers.

1366 x 768 on a laptop. I will never get used to having so little vertical height.
Having too many driver issues to run on the desktop at the mo, although at least the toolset works on the big monitor!

I build with Aurora in 1920x1080 on a 24" Viewsonic LCD, but I prefer to play the game at 800x600 on a Dell 17" CRT. Everything just looks better, including the font. As has already been said, at higher resolutions the font is just too small to read comfortably, (for my crippled eyes anyway), and running at anything other than the native resolution on my LCD just pixelates everything. Even Aurora has its quirks at the higher resolution -- adjusting tile lighting is a pain as half the available colours don't show up in the windows correctly -- but you learn to suck it up and move on.

I ran it in; 800x600, 1024x768 & 1280x1024 on my original 17" screen that came with my old PC. After many upgrades and a new 19" widescreen, I could run it in 1440x900 (and below as windowed, which I did a lot)
Today I run everything I can in 1920x1080 on my 21.5" LG as I built a new machine from scratch a few months back. I must say I was quite suprised NWN could actually do that and all I can say is that I wish I had done that back in the day when the game was more.. alive.
Wail of the Banshee on a clear night sky is absolutely epic now. =)
Also, counterstrike 1.6 (which many run in the horrible 640x480 res) is absolutely smashing in 1920x1080.
NWN2 is finally playable and I'm enjoying the official campaign for the.. 7th time?
