Everything Lorik said was gold. I was really sad when he didn't show up in ME2. He was one of the few aliens who gave us an outward looking in view of humanity.

just out of curiosity but if you import a space born me1 charachter in me2 can you do annother chat with shepards mom?

No, you get an email from her (who would have guessed).

No. You get an email, and a news broadcast.

No, this one is:

Turian Councilor: I believe you humans have a saying. Even a broken clock can be right twice a day.

Shepard: Here's a another one. GO TO HELL!

Too many good lines to pick just a few. Besides all the above mentioned, I would like to point to what I felt was Mark Meer's very best delivery of a line (I generally prefer Hale). It's in ME1 when meeting the Krogan Battlemaster when you're freeing Liara. I think it's the renegade option: "We don't have time for this idiot! Charge!" The delivery of this line was perfect.

Actually, no one dies in vain. Only those left behind feel empty. Someone will get that reference.

Aye, this one and...

I'm commander Shepard and this is my favourite store on the Citadel.

While I do think that Sovereign is the superior Reaper, I think Arrival gave Harbinger a great role as a villain, and one of my favorite lines ever:

You're galaxy is within sight. Your final days are at hand

I reeeally liked that line. It was almost as if he was seducing Shepard.

I ruined that line for myself because I couldn't stop thinking "its a friggin galaxy...how could it ever have not been in sight. It was blatantly in sight in the ending scene of ME2."

Thats the point. It means that the reapers travelled so far out from darkspace that when the were closer, the galaxy was "in sight." Their goals were close to completion.

Unlike sovvy, Harbinger really likes the flowerly language, and metaphor.

"Human, you have changed nothing. You have the attention of those infinitely your greater." That line is always great no matter how many times I hear it.

"Releasing control." And that is when I realised that unlike Sovvy Harbinger is the more evil of the two. Sovvy was just doing his job but Harbinger went out of his way to release the Collector General just long enough for it to see its own destruction coming.

To be fair the last time a reaper didn't release control of its avatar before its destruction, the reaper was torn apart by a fleet while its mass effect field was down.

I don't think it would have effected Harbinger at all. Remember we've killed dozens of his avatars druing the game and it never affected him. The way he was speaking to the general clearly showed that what he was doing was done out of malice and not to protect himself. "You have failed... we will find another way."

Fun thread.

Sovereign is still king for me, but I hope he'll be topped in ME3.

I gotta admit, I'm wondering if Bioware will throw in a joke about that in ME:3, when the shops realize that you've endorsed all of em. lol
