Voted, but please, like others have said already, try to make the options seem less biased next time. Don't tell me what you think DAO was about, and say that it allowed way more freedom than DA2, when not everyone would agree with you on that (I, for one). Try to see from both sides when writing the options. Not only: "elves were better in DAO", but also "elves were better in DA2".

Also, I support an extensive survey from BioWare, or just from anyone who is up to it on the forums.

Unfortunately I cant edit the answer selections now, but I added a note in the question, but thank you for your imput, next time I make a survey, I'll not do it at like 2 AM. Once again, I really didn't mean to be biased, I love both games equally.

Anywhosle, after a whopping 879 (Andraste's flaming ass wow guys) votes, heres the new numbers! Thank you guys so much!

16% of the voters believe the game was generaly 'Okay, but lacking in mmany places ' Another 16% said it was Good, but needed some improvments' 15% were dissapointed, 11% believed the game was great, and only 8% Thought it was a waste of their money.

37% are doubtful that DLC's could improve their veiw of the game unless they were really well done DLC's. 27% are a little more hopeful in that regard.

56% prefer being able to play a game where they make present time choices that effect their world. 6% like playing from the future, having a set storyline with little to change in the decision making area.

41% liked having a voices protagonsit. 35% were cool with having either voiced or silent.

61% missed being able to choose a species, 36% don't mind not having a choice or being able to choose.

68% want to have a choice-influenced world for the next game, 28% are fine with having the choices or not.

39% prefer the changes made to the elves (Sorry about the options again) 24% prefered how they were on Origins. 20% prefered just how they looked in Origins. 4% dislike how the elves are portrayed in both games.

68% Are happy with the changes the Qunari underwent, 18% are fine with both games portrayls.

And now in order of the number of Votes here are the places people would like to play in/see in the next game, from most votes to least.:
  • Tevinter
  • Orlias
  • Antiva
  • Anderfels
  • Ferelden
  • Rivain
  • Nevarra
  • Seheron
  • Free Marches

Great survey! Wish there was a "I vastly preferred the depiction of Dalish Elves in DA2" option, though. I loved the flavor added to their culture.

More than half of the board want free present time choices that affect their world and NOT just illusion of choices and set storyline.

You hear that BioWare?

Choices, cause and effect. Become the RPG actor and not become the RPG audience.

Though... I voted that I liked the elves' look in DAO better, then afterwards realized that wasn't accurate. I tweaked all my Wardens with the toolset, and except for the very first play-through, used Dracomies' DA Redesigned mod that improved the look of pretty much everyone in the game with particular attention to the elves. In reality I'd vote that both versions would benefit from a toolset.

Appreciate the effort of the survey, but your questions need major work. Your results will almost be skewed from the start just based on how poorly worded the questions were.

Also, you did not segregate the different elements of the game to give a true picture of what went right and what went wrong.

As an aside, I don't think people realize how awesome it would be to restore the Anderfels; we'd get to be Grey Wardens again too!

I understand your points, though unfortunately with the number of votes I can't go back and change anything.

I wasn't trying to figure out what went wrong, this was much more geared towards getting an understanding of what people liked.
