Nobody wants to go to Wieshaupt? Anderfels would be awesome. Rough mountainous areas, Warden's ruling.
But mainly I want multiple locations!
It could go in Acts
Act 1 : Warden civil war over deciding what side to pick. Your choices here determine your ultimate side. Anderfels/Weishaupt
Act 2: You end up looking for Hawke (Rivain). You help Hawke track down the leaders of whichever faction he sided with. (Orlais and Nevarra)
Act 3: Despite all attempts at mediation. War breaks out. This only covers the outbreak and battle lines. You try to convince nations to support your cause, If your a mage guy you go to Tevinter, Chantry person you go to Par Vollen (Since Tevinter is involved the Qunari might help, plus it would help repair the truce). Both might go to Fereldan, Origin choices would come in here, King Alistair might be more likely to help mages, a mage hero would also help your cause. If your old warden sided against the mages and fought with Templars then it could make it so a mage would have to fight his way out of Denerim.
Act 4: You fight in skirmishes and battles in a protracted campaign. The main factions are yet to moblize. The true storm is in DA4

Appreciate the effort of the survey, but your questions need major work. Your results will almost be skewed from the start just based on how poorly worded the questions were.
Also, you did not segregate the different elements of the game to give a true picture of what went right and what went wrong.
I understand your points, though unfortunately with the number of votes I can't go back and change anything.
I wasn't trying to figure out what went wrong, this was much more geared towards getting an understanding of what people liked.
I don't think they were that bad. Only the elf one was so bias it should be ignored.
The rest of it was much better than MANY other survey's I've seen.
I think your next poll will be pretty damn good now that you know what to fix!

I kinda wish I would have answered differently on the elf question. I thought Zevran looked awful in DA2, but maybe that was just because I was used to how he looked in DAO. I literally *just* finished up my 4th playthrough of DAO, because I had never romanced Zevran, and thought I should try it out. In truth, he looks kinda tacky in both, but I still think he's great. He's no Fenris, but in DAO, he'll do.
I watched a video of the Merrill romance scene on YouTube, and saw that her arm looked like it was going right through Hawke, and was strangely skinny and contorted. While clothed, she looks ok, but that really threw me off. It made me start to pay more attention to how other elves in the game looked, and I was a little shocked at how disproportionate some of them were. How did I miss that on the first (and second) playthrough?
One thing I LOVED about the elves in DA2 were their eyes! Isabela said it best: "You elves have such pretty eyes, even the men. It makes me want to pluck them out and wear them as a necklace."
Alas, I'm not surprised to see the results of the locations...who wants to go back to the Free Marches after DA2? Not me, thanks. They might as well just call that whole map Kirkwall (or Kirkworld).

@FreyaWazHere: Instead of updating statistics in replies, it would make it easier for everyone to follow them if you'd edit the original post instead.

Anderfels is also a barren wasteland. Not much to see.

I can't help but wonder what the point of playing the game is, then. If my choices don't make any difference, why do I get to make them?FreyaWazHere wrote...
Before people go judging the choices and general main plot with DA2 I want them to remember that the game wasn't built to be as free as origins, and even though we get some choices, with the exceptions of party members leaving, or being pro-mage/pro-templar, Hawke is meant to have a straightforward story, why? Because it's a story and its from Varric's viewpoint, its simply meant to give us background on what is probably the foundation of events for the next game. The tale of the Warden is an active present, history-making story. Hawke's is set in stone before you begin.
At least in DAO my choices affected what sort of person the Warden was. In DA2 we don't even get that.
I don't really care where we go as long as I can move about it freely. And we are moving on the map, the top three places people wish to go in the next game are:
Tevinter 23%
Orlais 22%
Antiva tied with Ferelden 11%
The smallest is The Free Marches at 5%
I voted Free Marches, because I'm annoyed I didn't get to see more of it in DA2. but my first choice would probably be a Deep Roads campaign.

Anderfels is also a barren wasteland. Not much to see.
Parts of the Andefels are a wasteland. If all of the Anderfels was a wasteland there wouldn't be any human settlements at all. Nothing grows in the Blight lands, and there wouldn't be agriculture. Without farming you don't have towns or cities.
The Blight Lands are only one region of the country. The rest of the steppes are presumably, green.

Doing a poll in this method is not very scientific. People who are haters from either camp can spam the choices to fit their bias. I'd like to think mostly real choices are being made. IF going by what most opinion are by those who leave out the ad hominem and hyperbole, the results are not that close. Then again, that isn't scientific either.
Actually, they can't because I have tthe thing set to allow one vote per IP, and if you look at the statistics, you'd see most are in the middle about things.
