Yeah the most important and powerful character in the series, and quite possibly in Thedas does not have any reasons to be in the background art.

Well it's obvious that the protagonists of the first two games have been her puppets to some degree, although I think it's more that she saw their potential and steered them into fulfilling it in a way that met her aims. I'm truly excited to see what happens with her, as at some point it's obvious that her true motives will become clear, and I suspect that she may end up being a major antagonist in a future game.Wulfram wrote...
Ick, Flemeth. I'm very nervous about her future in the DA series - she's too powerful, too mysterious and risks taking away any sense that the PC matters as anything except her puppet.
I don't know. The dread wolf, Fen'Harel, is part of an elven mythology, while the maker is part of a human one. If the maker was really Fen'Harel I could imagine that the impact on human mythology would be larger. Furthermore, Fen'Harel seems to be a malicious god. He's definitely a trickster whereas the maker seems to be "good". The elves fear Fen'Harel but most humans worship and love the maker.Tripedius wrote...
If the maker imprisoned the old gods doesn't that make him the dread wolf? Haven't read everything so a bit vague on those things.
But we didn't stop the blight by producing a god child. What we stoped was our (or Alistair's) death. In order to stop the blight you don't need the god child. You can stop it the "old fashioned" way: a grey warden kills the archdemon and dies while he absorbs his taint. Also if we stopped the blight by producing a god child, want if someone before us did that with Flemeth, meaning she is a god child herself?

I really think Flemeths role is going to include Fenriel..

I was convinced Flemeth was going to take over Merills body even if i killed her in origins.
