she does not warrant being on the background of the site at all

Yeah the most important and powerful character in the series, and quite possibly in Thedas does not have any reasons to be in the background art.

Ick, Flemeth. I'm very nervous about her future in the DA series - she's too powerful, too mysterious and risks taking away any sense that the PC matters as anything except her puppet.

Well it's obvious that the protagonists of the first two games have been her puppets to some degree, although I think it's more that she saw their potential and steered them into fulfilling it in a way that met her aims. I'm truly excited to see what happens with her, as at some point it's obvious that her true motives will become clear, and I suspect that she may end up being a major antagonist in a future game.

If the maker imprisoned the old gods doesn't that make him the dread wolf? Haven't read everything so a bit vague on those things.

I don't know. The dread wolf, Fen'Harel, is part of an elven mythology, while the maker is part of a human one. If the maker was really Fen'Harel I could imagine that the impact on human mythology would be larger. Furthermore, Fen'Harel seems to be a malicious god. He's definitely a trickster whereas the maker seems to be "good". The elves fear Fen'Harel but most humans worship and love the maker.
However, there is a speculation on Dragon Age Wiki, that Flemeth is actually Fen'Harel. It was also suggested Flemeth, Fen'Harel and the maker could all be the same person. Personally, I think this is a bit over the top, but again, who knows... ?

Also if we stopped the blight by producing a god child, want if someone before us did that with Flemeth, meaning she is a god child herself?

But we didn't stop the blight by producing a god child. What we stoped was our (or Alistair's) death. In order to stop the blight you don't need the god child. You can stop it the "old fashioned"  way: a grey warden kills the archdemon and dies while he absorbs his taint.

The dread wolf supposedly made the old Gods fight with eachother by lieing to them about some secret weapon.

I really think Flemeths role is going to include Fenriel..

My first response to this is no just because you can make him tranquil in the fade though i suppose if there was anyone who could reverse that it would be Flemeth.  Also we all know how decisions made in game can change with the next one.

I don't think she cares about anyone really but at the same time she doesn't hate them.  She has her own agenda and when someone like the warden or Hawke come along she will use them for her own gain but also reward them in a way for their effort.

Sandal mentions an old scary lady with a scary laugh that stands by his bed. Probably?

Nah she's waiting for the Godbaby Body. The one form she won't be able to wear out.
