Nonsense. The Welsh and their accents are just as British as anyone from England or Scotland. Britain is a REGION, not a political union. Any welsh person that gets annoyed at being called British is an idiot. In the same way, it would be pretty dumb for a Welsh chap to be annoyed when someone says he is from Europe. Now, if you were to say they wereishmaeltheforsaken wrote...
Don't call Welsh accents British. The Welsh will eat you alive.
from the United Kingdom (Which IS a political union), then yeah, they'll likely get annoyed at youAs would the Scottish and Northern Irish (For that matter, quite a few English hate it too).
Objective reality has nothing to do with how people feel. Americans hear "British" and think "English." Even actual British people probably associate the term "British" more with the Crown than with the geographical region.
In the end, no one wants to be associated with the English, because the English are bastards who have oppressed them for centuries.

I'm glad she isn't one of them, they are all snobbish ass hats that think they are better than everyone including Merril. They don't deserve to have Merril. Marethari is the only decent Dalish in that whole clan and she's even questionable at times.
Marethari is so far from decent it's not even funny.
What's on-topic even mean?

You're talking complete nonsense. Britain comes from the Roman word Brittannia (A name for the REGION, not the political union. The Political union is called the United Kingdom), from the first century BC. The United Kingdom didn't exist until the 18th Century.rizla1888 wrote...

The province of Britannia was the island that we now call Britain, including Scotland. Ireland was called Hibernia by the Romans.
Honestly, I have no idea what you're even trying to say.

The name Britain COMES FROM the Roman word Brittania, via the medieval French word Bretaigne.rizla1888 wrote...

As for the bit about Scotland...
Yes, Scotland remained a celtic country longer than England did, however nowadays Scotland is no more "Celtic" than England. There's been so much inter-breeding in the TWO THOUSAND YEARS since Scotland was "Celtic", that the Celtic bloodline is no stronger in Scotland than it is in England or parts of France.
