I'm on the fence on this one, because the demo announcement was leaked in a very similar manner...
Since I don't have ME2 I wouldn't mind a free copy... Well assuming that's retroactive of course, if not that's incredibly stupid... and if it's just a fake then it's just a (well-made) fake.

No. Some of them are just obnoxious. Not everyone who dislikes the game is an obsessed, crusading hater. Those select few who are....they are just the loudest. As always.

That's funny, bioware "rewarding it's loyal fans" by giving them a game everyone has finished ages ago? ME2 is 20 euros on steam, DA2 is 50. I'd say it's still overpriced.

Because it's about time that the resident yesmen realized that their own actions have influenced BioWare to be in the position they currently are in and owed up to those actions. It's time to instill some well earned humility into these people. The so called haters rightly questioned every single design decision during the development of Dragon Age II and were ridiculed and shouted down for it at every turn by the BioWare loving mob. Concerns such as reused dungeons, isometric camera and length were deemed to be nothing but hyperbolic tripe uttered by drama queens looking for attention. This is what we had to deal with for months before the release. A forum utterly dominated by this twisted mentality. A forum in which much needed critique was buried under mounds of "DAVID GAIDER IS TEH AWSUM!1!" and "VARRIC CHESTHAIR IS SO SMEXY!1!" Now that mentaliy lies broken. Shattered by the heavy boots of reality.

And so it has all come back to bite them in the ass with poor sales and an even poorer reception. Do forgive me for finding this whole situation exceedingly hilarious.

It's straight from BioWare Czech. I have no idea why people still believe that this is some sort of joke. Unless you need everything to come from US channels in order to be considered valid. There is a world outside of the US, you know.

What's hilarious to me is just how many people fell for this OBVIOUS joke and clung to it as a frantic affirmation to their fervent belief that DA II was a failure to everyone that mattered. I'd say "the yolk's on you," but I think this situation is just a tad too sad for that line.
