The only song from DA2 I remember is Rogue Heart, which I have never heard in-game due to a glitch with the credits audio...yeah.

Even Inon Zur, the composer of the music for both DA:O and DA2, said DA2's music was rushed. Though despite what edits from gaming websites twist his words to say, he also said the game itself was rushed as well.

So yea DA2 soundtrack sucks compared to DA:O and even Inon Zur admits it.

I like the little details. Like, when the game thinks you can't win a battle and you are about to die, the music thins out to a sustained dissonant chord. It's horrible. I have fought back from that chord exactly three times on nightmare. It's a great feeling.

Just thought you guys would find this link interesting and it explains why the DA 2 soundtrack could have been maybe slightly better (although I think it was pretty good even if it didn't have as many memorable amazing pieces DAO had)

Yeah I know what one your talking about and I really like it too, it's a bit of a creepy feeling especially since it usually happens when I stuff up a fight and I'm running away from the enemy trying to heal....

No, he never said it "sucks". He only said it was a bit rushed.
If you know anything about music production, you would realise that this does not necessarily mean the actual music production was rushed. It may simply mean that he had to write, arrange and produce the music in a limited time period.
You may not like it, but there is nothing audibly wrong with the music. It is well produced despite the time constraints he mentioned.

I am struggling to think of some music from DA2 that was not directly copies over from DA:O.

I love Fenris theme, have it on my iPod and listen to it very often. It makes it even more difficult for me not to romance him when talking to him in his estate. The music, the light, the voice.... Wish there was such a song for Merrill or Anders.

DA2 music didn't compare. Whilst certainly atmospheric and enjoyable, the title music in Origins was so haunting and beautiful. I have forgotten the name of the singer, it did mention it on the CE bonus CD, but she was very talented. When I first loaded up the game, I just sat there and listened to the music. That's the first time I've done that for a game. As I say, DA:2 had decent music, but the score in Origins was more epic and memorable.

If you are saying that all the music in DA2 is from Origins, then perhaps it is time to consider that hearing aid...
Because apart form a few tracks brought over from Origins, the bulk of the music is significantly different to Origins.
