I'm having trouble getting FBX, DAE or OBJ files generated from the game's MMH
files using tazpn's tools into blender. The files seem to be carrying no information but are throwing no errors upon conversion. In any case I'm getting nothing upon import into blender.
Is there some reliance on the DAO toolkit that tazpn's tools have that I'm not allowing for? Does anyone have any hints on how to get past this?
What am I doing wrong re: model import?

I haven't had problems importing them into 3DS Max, but that's really not helpful to you; I'll try with Blender and see if I have trouble with them, and let you know what I find.
Edit: I would suggest deleting the cube in the viewport first; you may be successfully importing the mesh, but because it's so small, it's actually appearing inside the cube.

Happily, the majority of my problems were solved when I found a more up-to-date version of tazpn’s conversion tool; the version that's DA2 targeted. I can now get examples of DA2 models into blender as OBJ files (but not DAE) as a starting point to get creative.
Let’s see where this goes!
