What I would like to see in future installments of Dragon Age.

1.) Region selection: The ability to create a character who was born and raised in a particular region of Thedas. This could replace the origin mechanic from Origins. As if you pick to come from a particular place that regions, cutlure, races, and views on various politics such as the Chantry, Qunari, and Magic might reflect upon your character as well as what race/class combinations are generally accepted or frowned upon. It could lead into the entire story for your character. Such as playing a Elven rogue/slave from Tevinter trying to escape your master. Or a Human/Mage from Tevinter where you might be a noble born from a long line of mages and now aspiring to gain further power for yourself.. As oppose to a human/mage from Orlai who was born in the circle and raised by the chantry until your magic started to show then sent to a new circle elsewhere, maybe you'll play as a young apprentice learning about magic like Harry Potter and grow up entirely in the circle doing circle based adventures. Maybe your goal is to become First Enchanter or Destroy the Circle entirely.

2.) Return of Character Creation: Hawke was a fine character but I think his/jer story should be done. Hero of Kirkwall, now disappeared let her/his story rest. Let the play make a character that allows them to feel like they have a connection to the world of thedas

3.) Branching Story Paths: If i choose to save someone let me have a chance at saving them. No scripted impact events anymore. I hated that you couldn't save certain people no matter what you did. If the developers wanted the story to go one way, but we choose a different then make the different choice more difficult, but don't take away the option.
