Not sure if this is bug since I had a look and can't find anyone else with this bug or glitch.

I went with a more friendly route, and decided to give Merrill the relic to fix the Eluvian mirror. When I go back to speak to Merrill, she thanks me for going with her to speak to the keeper.
 
Out of nowhere near the end of act 2 her questioning belief quest pops up and for some reason, she is angry with me for refusing to give her the item, and throwing me out of the house saying she never wants to speak to me again.

Is she going schizo or something wrong with her quests?

Not familiar with that bug. With me, one of her scenes at her place occurred before her mission in act 3 when it should have happened after. I never got to that mission because of the slow-mo bug. Maybe Merrill is bugged in many ways and each player gets the luck of the draw. Fun for all.

She will toss you out I think if you do rival with her as that happen with me. Mind you I recall that I also did not give her the mirror fixing thing , on my 2nd full play thru. Regardless she does come crawling back like a good little girl and apologizes for going off the deep end...

Hi. I have a slightly different story line with her as I gave her eveything she wants and even romanced her with the heart options during dialogues. But she did threw me out of her house at one point, saying nobody listens to her or something to that effect. So that confused me.

I decided to go to my estate at night and there she is, apologizing, and that's when we started sleeping.

I think she's just fragile and confused.

Just a question: i am on the beginning of act 2, all my companion received the:
Name of companion - after the deep roads expedition codex

except Merril.
Anyone got it?

(she stay at home, and did not enter in the deep roads expedition with me)
(my sister bethany too did not in the expedition so she get caught by templar)
(i got the mourning dialogue in merril's house)

False alarm, after two days, i went to merril personal quest on act 2 and in the end got the codex
