Are +X% Healing effects multiplicative or additive?
Since Arcane Wall takes away 5% of the 20% to share, unlike how everyone assumed a full share, is it worth it?
Do two Arcane Walls stack?

It's purely anecdotal but a couple of +8% healing effects greatly boosted Aid Allies, to about 50%.
Is Arcane Wall worth it? It seems like such a large investment for 5 points... If you have a character with no investment in cunning they'll have 5% defense, if you give them +5% defense they'll have... 5% defense. +10% they have 10%, etc. So you'd need a party that has a good defense anyway.
+5% elemental resistance? Maybe as a top-up, considering how DR, MR and ER are all added together, every little helps. If it's the last 5% you need to be immune then yeah, but if it's taking you from 0% to 5%, nah.
The arcane walls do not stack.

You are wrong about Aid Allies it's additive just like any other healing spell.

Defense is pretty much useless anyhow. A character's defense can't drop below 5% although their "actual" defense score based on the Defense ratings per level is actually lower or non existing. This means that mostly for anyone but a rogue it will bring no improvement at all. 5% elemental resistance is very minor as well.

Arcane Wall is a very bad talent overall.

That's not how it's calculated nor what I meant by additive. By additive I mean that separated sources of +%healing are added not multiplied, not that each +1% healing heals an additional 1% of total health pool; that would be completely imbalanced.

consider this theoretical situation:
Anders has two +200% healing rings.
When he wears one ring his healing output is 300% of normal meaning that Aid Allies will heal for (3 x 0.3) 90% of total health.
When he wears two his healing output is 500% (1+2+2) not 900% (1+2 x 1+2).

Two +8% healing rings will increase Anders' healing output by 16% (1+0.08+0.08) not by 16.64% (1+0.08 x 1+0.08), meaning that Aid Allies will heal for 34.8% not 34.992%.

The difference between 16% and 16.64% is subtle but conclusive if you test it with a very big health pool.
