Thanks to gamers like you, Dragon Age II is off to a great start – breaking the 1 million mark in less than two weeks and faster than Dragon Age: Origins. We appreciate your support. As a special thank you for helping with the game’s early success, BioWare would like to present you with a download code for 2010’s Game of the Year, Mass Effect 2 on PC.

As always, we sincerely appreciate your support and passion as we remain focused on delivering quality interactive experiences now and in the future.  Look for more exciting things coming from Dragon Age, Mass Effect, and Star Wars: The Old Republic in the future, including our recent launch of Mass Effect 2 Arrival DLC.

To qualify and get your Mass Effect 2 PC download code, please follow these steps before April 30, 2011 at 11:59pm PDT:
  • Activate the Online Pass content that came with your copy of Dragon Age II (The Black Emporium)
  • Start the game and log in using your EA Account or create a new EA Account
  • Visit http://social.bioware.com/me2offer and log in with that EA Account
  • Enter your Online Pass code and click “Submit”.  You will then be provided the code for Mass Effect 2.
  • Open the EA Download Manager and enter the code to commence download (if you don’t have the EA Download Manager installed, it can be found HERE)
For more information on this and answers to any frequently asked questions, please visit THIS WEBPAGE :)

This is a pretty cool offer, but as someone who paid full price for ME2 it would be nice to be able to take advantage of this deal in some way. Free access to the Shadow Broker or Arrival DLC would be nice.

If we already own ME2 are we able to give the code to a friend for them to download, or is it tied in to our EA account?

As someone who has most of the DLC for ME2, some ME3 or SWTOR gimmicks would have been nice.

Excellent news, but... what about those who already buy ME2 for PC? Have this version a special feature like improved graphics or something like that?

I suppose this would be fantastic for Dragon Age fans but not exactly ideal for BioWare fans. A lot of us already have Mass Effect 2. *sadface*

So I followed all the instructions and got my ME2 code. I opened the EA Download Manager and went to game code redemption. When I entered my code the enter code page refreshed. The My Games page, after multiple refreshes, still does not have ME2 in it, and when I re-enter my code it says "This code has already been used"

Anything I am missing?

Here's a question. I just sent my copy of DA2 over to Aghanistan for my boyfriend to play, since he's stuck there doing Army things. Thus I cant log in... I have my receipt proving that I bought it.... Is there any possible way for me to still take part in this? Or do I not get to cause I'm helping a soldier who's serving overseas??
I just bought ME2 for XBox...again, since I sent that one to him too... and was planning to buy it for my PC eventually... but... this would be wonderful too.

Please? All I wanted to do was make my army boy happy, and now I can't play DA2 OR benefit from this.

I believe in the FAQ they mentioned it could take up to 2 days to register?

I'm afraid I can't take advantage of this. EA is asking for credit card info from me even though they have my account info on file for prior DLC Bioware points. With the sudden rash of phishing attacks, I am VERY leery of giving out vital info again.

Yes, that's a good question. Also, what is in this edition? I mean, would it update my copy with something?

I think it's a great gift and I hope that creates new Mass Effect lovers :D

Here http://dragonage.bioware.com/me2offer/ said: NOTE: Please allow 72 hours between time of online pass activation and submitting your online pass code on http://social.bioware.com/me2offer/.

So maybe that is your problem
