Posted a Thank you a few pages ago but just wanted to say it again!! :happy:

Especially afer reading the Cerberus Network IS included. I missed that the first time and thought it wasnt!

Can ME2 be downloaded without using the EA Download Manager? I don't like using any type of download manager. I've got the code and am ready to download. Just need a link.

EDIT: Nevermind! I was thinking of downloading the manager and then removing it. But, I just read in their FAQ that...

If you remove EA Download Manager, you will lose accessibility and playability to any downloaded games and manuals until you reinstall the EA Download Manager.

Guess I won't give ME2 a whirl. Oh well.

so here is my problem... i entered the Dragon Age 2 online pass perfectly fine. so it gave me a code to enter in the EA downloader thing. i didn't see anywhere to input the promo code so i just searched for Mass Effect 2. i have tried now both the regular mass effect 2 game and the mass effect 2 collectors edition with the in game items and stuff, where it says enter promo code on the check out list i enter my code with the Dashes (XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX), and without the dashes, both 5 times already and every single time it says "Invalid Promo Code" EVERY SINGLE TIME!!!! i tryed looking through the customer support site to look up similar problems but i cant find any. i tryed doing contact us, but i didn't get a email or anything. is there some way some how i can get the damned code to not say "Invalid Promo Code" and actualy work so i dotn have to pay money for a game they advertise as free with the code?

You shouldn't have to. You put in the code in the Downloader then it should download the game. There are reports and I saw this happen to me too that the downloader keeps asking for a code even after you put it in. If that's the case, just close that part asking for the code and it should appear in the downloader downloading the game.

it made me download the EA Download Manager since i didnt already have it. and when it comes up on that home page it wont even give me results when i imput my code and search

I had the same problem with EA server asking for my code multiple times and saying it was in use.

My Solution was to enter the code in the bioware social forums register your game section, and enter it in for mass effect 2.

Then load the EADM, and a mass effect 2 thumbnail should be in your games section, with the option to download it.

Nice offer BioWare, although I already own ME2 for my 360. Oh well, something to hang on to for when I get a good enough PC to play ME2 on. (As long as I enter the code, I'll be able to download the game as many times as I wish, correct? So I can enter this into the EA downloader manager and it'll always be tied to my account?)

Oh, they changed it so that we get the Cerebus Network with this? I know it wasn't there before. Now I might be more open to buying the other DLC's. I got Zaeed now but no Kasumi and the evening wear for Shepard.

The other poster said he put his code in this site and it fixed it. So maybe try that. /shrug

i entered my code on this social.bioware.com/redeem and i entered it yet again with dashes and no dahes it didnt work.....
the instructions say to do it in the EA Download Manager. but it wont work in there....
