I already bought ME2 last year, so I gifted this extra copy to a friend I'd been nagging to play the game since it came out. Appreciate it - maybe he'll stop teasing me for pre-ordering DA2 now that he's gotten something out of it.

There's only one problem: I now have two Cerberus Network passes on my account and no way of transferring the extra pass to my friend. Anything that could be done about this?

Ok, so this is a great promo since I was thinking about picking up Mass Effect 2 off of steam soon anyway.

But, I can't get the site to accept my promo-code (from the Dragon Age 2 Box). I've activated it online and downloaded it several weeks ago (so over the 72 hour period) and the only step I'm not taking on their list is that I don't have my game running and online when I enter the code. The reason being that I have a PS3 and the game instantly freezes (sound, frozen picture) if I have the internet cable plugged into the PS3 when running Dragon Age 2.

Anyone have a solution for this? Or do I just have to wait another 72 hours (just tried RE-activating my Black Emporium code) and have it fail then? Already I'm irritated enough that I just want to buy the dang thing and not deal with this crap, but that'd just be throwing bad money away after good.

I'm having the same problem, however I claimed my code over Xbox LIVE and I actually have the game running at this moment.

I just filed my ticket.  Good to know you received a quick response.  Fingers crossed.

EA Support told me they made adjustments to my account, and I should now be able to claim my code.  But I still receive the same "We were unable to verify that you have activated your Online Pass" error. 

Waiting for EA to re-respond.

Thank you! This is a very nice gesture. Can't wait for my download to finish. Entered the code and followed the instructions - redeemed it, a refresh happened but the Redeem Dialog box was still there so it was confusing at first. I reentered the code and it says it is already used. Oh well I closed the window and there - ME2 showed up and now I'm at 10% downloading the game!

 Well my problem is of quite different sort. I bought an original DA2 (with no Black Emporium dlc). Only code I have is my CD key,which I registered all right. Both EA + Bioware accounts were linked, but hey - I don't know where to find my Online Pass Code.  So I desperately bought the Black Emporium in false hope I would get it additionally, but no even then I was not given one. Any ideas ???

I'm having problems installing the actual game. I downloaded it, all fine, I press the 'Ready to Install' button and bam.

I get an error. I don't know what it says exactly (I'll check later) but I know that the error code is 1619, whick looks like a pretty rare error as there isn't much stuff about it on the interwebs.

The download manager itself won't, but obviously dowloading ME2 will use up bandwidth.

Oh dang, can't then. I got a 135 gig limit every month from comcast, and I can't download much games because my dad looks at the bandwidth usage every month...

That happned to me too. All I did was close out of the redeeme code screen and checked under "My Games" and it was there. From what I gather, it doesn't take you out of that screen automatically.

Thanks but it wasn't in there. I first closed EADM then booted it back up but the game still wasn't there. Then I logged off and logged back on then it showed up in my games.

So.. great for the PC users. They get some compensation for the bugged game. Not that they really cant fix it with editors and stuff. But what about the console users? They have to wait for a patch for at least 3-4 weeks i think. Great way of showing that you care about everyone Bioware! NOT.

Sorry if this has been asked and answered before but I was too lazy to look through 15 pages

But I having serious problems figuring out how to do this.. The first thing to do is:

Activate the Online Pass content that came with your copy of Dragon Age II (The Black Emporium).

But how do I do this? If I go into the game and click on 'downloadable content' and click on 'View available content' I am directed to this page:

However it says I need to buy it? If I click on 'Learn more', I get a popup saying I can either buy it or click on 'redeem promo code'. I click on 'redeem promo code' and am directed to this page: http://social.biowar...edeem_code.php.

So now I am back to square one. Where do I get this online promo code?

FYI I bought the game through steam..

If you bought the game on disc, you should have received a key code for the game itself, and an additional key code for the bonus content (such as The Black Emporium).

- Go to http://social.bioware.com/ and log in to your account (most likely you already are logged in)
- Go to http://social.bioware.com/me2offer/, and enter the key code for the bonus content
- Submit

I assume digital downloads (such as Steam) also give you two codes, but I'm not sure about that.
So if you don't have the key code, or you don't remember it, then go to this page and follow the instructions under (4):
