Well, as much as I love free games and as much as I love the ME series.... I already have ME2 and all DLC.

However, Bioware/EA helped me make a friend very happy!
So, thanks to Bioware/EA on behalf of my friend and myself.

Purchased DLC is platform specific, so yes, you will have to buy it again.

ME2 is Unreal Engine 3 so it shouldn't need a very high-spec computer to run it on low-med settings. What kind of rig do you have?

Not true, when i got my code, it linked me to the content subscription part of this site and the celebrial stuff is showing up for download

Very nice gesture by Bioware, usually don't play PC games, this will be one of the first, it would have been nice if they would have just offered up the next DLC free to us, maybe when they hit 2 million copies.

Hmm after redeeming my code it hasn't appeared in EADM, anyone know why this is? I've had DA2 registered since launch so way longer than the 72 hour thing mentioned in the FAQ

right click on your game in steam -> view game cd key

there should be an entry for your BE dlc and that's the one you have to use.
I don't have the steam version so I'm guessing it workss that way

Log out of the EADM and back in and it should show up. Make sure you log out and don't just restart the EADM.

I contacted EA support and they gave me ALL the DLC I bought for 360 on PC, except Alt. Appearence Pack 2. They said the Alt. Appearence Pack 2 was unavalible. For the "inconvienence" they gave me Pinnacle Station AND $40 of EA Store credit.

Isn't that part of the Cerebus Network stuff? If so then look at your registered promotions page here and there will be download links for that along with the other things from the Cerebus Network.

I personally see this as an appology for the bug infested DA2. I think this was the only way they could give out ME2. It's not like ME2 is even on GOD for 360.

Besides, I like this deal. I wanted to try out the mods for ME2 on PC.

This seems like a Win-Win-Win:
Bioware gets people to play ME2 even longer, we get a FREE copy of ME2, and EA gets more people to use their Download Manager (which I can only assume is suppose to compete with Steam).

Yes, it was added after the initial announcement. I checked my user entitlement page and it was there for me. I downloaded it before the change as well initially. So is it showing on your entitlement page?
