@Smeelia - it should be there, but you can just try it anyway. The code you used to register the Signature Edition content, can also be used to register for ME2 (well at least, it's the same code on PC, not 100% sure about Xbox, but I assume it's the same there too).
Just try #3 on the me2offer page, and if that doesn't work, try #4.

I tried the signature edition content code and I get an "invalid code" message.  With the Black Emporium/Online Pass code I get a different message saying it can't be verified (presumably because it's not listed on my registered content), I get the same message if I use the "lost code" option.

I think I need to get the Black Emporium/Online Pass onto my registered game content somehow, I tried putting it into the "redeem code" section both in-game and on the website but I get an "invalid code" message for both (it's the wrong type of code for the website and I already used it in the game so that probably stops it being used again).  I'll try putting some codes in again and if it doesn't work then hopefully customer support can sort me out.

If anyone manages to get the ME2 code without the Black Emporium/Online Pass listed in their registered game content it'd be helpful to know what steps they used.

I've got the DA2 signature edition on the X-Box 360, I've registered the game and used the code to download the Black Emporium but my "registered game content" section doesn't list the Black Emporium (or online pass) at all (it does list signature edition rewards and so on).  Does it have to appear there before I can use it to get ME2 and if it does then does anyone know how I get it to appear there (since I already registered the Black Emporium code much more than 72 hours ago)?

Select the option that you have forgotten/lost your BE key and you should get ME2 code automatically. It has worked for me. :)

The Black Emporium code for Dragon Age 2 Xbox 360 is a special code used to redeem the BE DLC from XBL Marketplace so it won't work on this website. Once you launch the game and log in with your EA Master Account, the system recognizes that you have activated your online pass.

I used my 360 code and it worked. So maybe some do and some don't.

Okay, I tried fishing through this entire thread for this, but didn't see this addressed before, so:

I now have the ME2 access key. But after reading up on EADM a bit, it appears that I will have to download 11GB of data for ME2, without the ability to back that up to disc. So every time I'd reinstall my PC, I would have to download that same 11GB again. Not particularly looking forward to that. So my question is: if I borrow the ME2 DVDs from a friend, will my ME2 key work with those as well? Or is it specifically linked to the EADM?

It will work to install but you will have to use the DVD to play it. So unless your friend wants to part ways with the DVD, you have to download it.

The lost code option doesn't work for me, does the Black Emporium/Online Pass appear in your list of registered game content on this website?

I think I originally entered my code from the X-Box 360 dashboard rather than through the menu in the game, that could be my problem if it only counts as registered if you download through the game menu (or maybe it has to be while the game is running).

Ah well, that's not an option then :(  Then I hope there is a way to backup the install files from the download (see my previous question on that)...

Did you try (re)registering the Black Emporium code here on the site, at the redeem page?

I did enter my codes for the BE and the Exiled Prince DLCs using 'Redeem code' and only then I launched the game for the 1st time.

Yes, unfortunately it's the wrong kind of code (they are 25 digit codes while the ones for this site, like the signature edition content, are 16 digit, it does mention this in the in-game menu as well).

I think that's what I did too.

I'm going to try re-downloading the content from the in-game menu and see if that helps (of course it could take 72 hours from then even if it does work).

Thanks for trying to help at least, I think I might just have to rely on support or maybe it'll start to work after a while (maybe I just haven't run the game recently enough before today).

Bioware:

I bought both DA2 and ME2 recently for my PS3. I really wanted to play ME1. I would love it if I could get a free ME1 copy, instead of a free ME2. Is it possible?

I guess it's just the whole not being able to understand tone of voice from text lol. But then neither of ME1's DLC's are as good as ME2's Mission DLCs.

As for everyone who is getting the whole "I'm unable to do that" bs from EA CS, it's not true. Their Customer Support can practically give you anything.

I managed to get ALL the pre order DLC's AND the Bioware Sig Edition content for DA2 by simply asking them. It all comes down to how you say it, and how persistent you are at requesting it.

If you get denied anything, ask to be connected with someone who can. It can come down to luck on who you talk to. Some people are just more willing to help you than others.

Well, I just got through my call to EA CS, and the guy on there insisted that the content I bought was only for the xbox version. However, he did give me a $20 EA store code for buying BioWare points. So, I can get some of my DLC for the PC version for no extra cost. And given that I currently don't have a PC good enough to play ME2 on, I can just wait for BioWare to do some kind of a sale.

Not yet but we need to keep the campaign alive for everyone to get Firepower. How it's set up now, only people who buy DA2 in the month of April get it. Sort of backwards in a program stressing LOYALTY, isn't it?

I will try something and if it
works, I'll let you know. I have 2 computers I game with now. I recently
put one together mainly to be my DVD/DVR for my big screen then thought
about playing games on it too. So I installed DA2. I will see if the
folder called _Installer is all I need to install on a second machine.
But in the downloader there is an option to check that says keep
download but I didn't have mine checked. UGH.

It seems to be working.

In the Program Files directory is a Electronic Arts folder. In there will be the installation of Mass Effect 2. Inside that folder is a folder called "_Installer". That's the folder you need to copy over. Then inside that folder is a folder called DISK1 that you run the Autorun from. You can just copy the DISK1 folder but those others in there contain the help files.

Edit: Install stopped prematurely so scrap that idea.

Finally, I have a pure English copy of ME2 too. It was a pain to deal with then HUN/PL/CZ version, as it didn't have ENG on the disc, it was tricky to get it working on the original language.

If there is a next time for this sort of thing I'd like to see an option for an equivalent value in DLC option. I don't know how much the DLC for ME2 costs, but I think its about $7, so maybe Arrival, Lair and Kasumi, in order of preference if I got the price wrong.

Ok, so this is a great promo since I was thinking about picking up Mass Effect 2 off of steam soon anyway.

But, I can't get the site to accept my promo-code (from the Dragon Age 2 Box). I've activated it online and downloaded it several weeks ago (so over the 72 hour period) and the only step I'm not taking on their list is that I don't have my game running and online when I enter the code. The reason being that I have a PS3 and the game instantly freezes (sound, frozen picture) if I have the internet cable plugged into the PS3 when running Dragon Age 2.

Anyone have a solution for this? Or do I just have to wait another 72 hours (just tried RE-activating my Black Emporium code) and have it fail then? Already I'm irritated enough that I just want to buy the dang thing and not deal with this crap, but that'd just be throwing bad money away after good.

I'm having the same problem, however I claimed my code over Xbox LIVE and I actually have the game running at this moment.

i had to get EA customer support to activate it for me, its downloading now. but hey, atleast now its working

I just filed my ticket.  Good to know you received a quick response.  Fingers crossed.

EA Support told me they made adjustments to my account, and I should now be able to claim my code.  But I still receive the same "We were unable to verify that you have activated your Online Pass" error.  Image IPB

Waiting for EA to re-respond.

EA Support generated a download code and emailed it to me just now.  Issue resolved.  Image IPB

I wonder what the problem was for us.

I already own ME2 and DA2 via Steam, but I claimed an EA download code through this offer, specifically for the FirePower pack, as mentioned today on the DA2 Facebook page. It didn't show up when I got the ME2 code ... how do I get the FirePower pack associated with my social.bioware.com account?

So I went to the site for my mass effect code, got it and it sais cerberus network activated, then it tells me to open the EA download manager, so I did that and then it tells me to enter the mass effect code in the download manager. WHERE do I do that, do I have to put Mass Effect II in my shopping car and then use my code as a promotion code? If so I tried it and it sais invalid code. The ea support  site is also utterly useless as it does not seem to be updated with this offer, only how to download and run ME II content while having ME II running, and that now is the exact problem here.

I need some help

Thanks in advance

When you are in your EA Download Manager in the right top corner you should have a little gear icon where all the options are. Click on that and choose Redeen Geme Code, When window opens just type your ME2 code and the game should be aviable on yourm main EADM window.

PS: You have to use caps when you type the code in.
