Nice offer. Would be even nicer if you gave something to those that already bought DA2 and ME2. (I also have ME1 and DA1, plus Arrival).
Talking about sequels, DA2 is like The Phantom Menace and ME2 is like The Empire Strikes Back.
DA2 IS a good game. It's just that when you compare it to DAO it seems lacking.
FANTASTIC job on ME2, Shadow Broker, and Arrival. If this is a hint of what ME3 will bring us, it could well be Bioware's crowning achievement.

I have a code but have mass effect 2 already, I tried giving the code to a friend but its saying he cant use it can't use it because there is no Black Emporium on his account :l

I used my 360 code and it worked. So maybe some do and some don't.

I think I originally entered my code from the X-Box 360 dashboard rather than through the menu in the game, that could be my problem if it only counts as registered if you download through the game menu (or maybe it has to be while the game is running).

I did mine through the Xbox dashboard too because at first there was an issue with this site accepting it. I didn't try ingame.


I had someone earlier who wanted to know about redownloading and such to a new machine. All I did to get it to work is just copy the Mass Effect 2 Program folder to the new machine. It had to activate then install Adobe AIR then update it but it did that when I tried to run the game from the launcher.

Yes. You can get your free copy of the PC downloadable version of ME2 as long as you have the DA2 Online Pass on your account. That's the Black Emporium and Hound. If you have those in your game, then you are eligible for the offer for the free PC version of ME2.

I am SO SO SO thankful for companies like Bioware. I've bought every Nippon Ichi, and Square, game - and they've never done anything like this for me.

And this is why I've bought every game since Baldur's Gate! (Except, suprisingly, Mass Effect 2... until now?? Haha)

One should keep in mind that Bioware (or shops with loyalty cards, or mobile broadband providers offering free laptops with their contracts) is not a charity; they wouldn't be giving away "free" copies of ME2 if they didn't think that they'd be able to recoup costs and lost income in the future.

 Very happy to see DragonAge is doing well and the M.E. offer is O.K. however my question is this...

 Can some arrangement be made for people like myself that have no intrest in M.E. to recieve something else in place of this..... Thank You download???

 I own DragonAge Origins Collectors Edition with all but 2 pieces of the DLC, I also own the 3 lithographs from DragonAge Origins and have just recently bought DragonAge II Signature Edition.

 So instead of giving me something that I have no desire in playing would it be possible to get something that deals with DragonAge II? A Gift Card for the Bioware Store so I can get one of the new DA II Lithographs

 It would be more of a Thank You to get something that deals with DragonAge II as these are the games I showed my support in via buying them and not just the regular versions I might add.

I doubt it - odds are that you won't buy ME2 if you haven't don't already, so giving away digital (i.e. free) copies of ME2 doesn't cost BW anything. You are clearly willing to spend money on DA merchandise so it would be dumb to allow such a trade.
