If you haven't read the books, when you see TRW posted here its us book readers trying to not spoil y'all who just watch the show.

Nothing big, just one of the biggest events that happen in the books. That's all I will say.
There's a Game of Thrones RPG that came out recently. They have the actual actors of Mormont and Varys in it
And the story was reviewed by George himself.

They'll definitely play "it".

Well the song is crucial to TRW.

Thing about the TWR is after it, the whole series kind of slums.

Absolutely vital. It'll happen. If it didn't happen, TRW would've never happened.

I would post something witty but then it would be spoilers.
A general question but has the second series ended? If not what point of the story are they up to?

Shh about TRW!
Nope, there's still 2-3 more episodes for this season.legion999 wrote...

Second season, I think you mean.
They have events from the books completely out of order, so while I would've at first said Season 2 was the Clash of Kings season, they are dipping into A Storm of Swords even now.

The way that song sounds, plus how the Frey's look demands Banjo Music!

Tonight's episode - which is about to start - will likely determine whether I continue to ne highly interested in this show, or watch it just because it's there.
I'm really hoping it's the first.

I don't know about anyone else, but I LOVED Blackwater.
Also, they played The Rains of Castamere during the credits. THATS why its in the Season 2 soundtrack.
SUCH A TEASE. GODDAMN IT.

I found it meh. Everything was in the dark so I felt like there was nothing to see. Maybe my GoTfan is broken. They did what they had to do, though. A lot of people on Twitter seem excited about it.

Great episode. They cut some things (obviously), but I feel like they included most of the good stuff. Next weeks episode should be interesting. I'm curious to see how much they explain at the end of this season and how much they will leave until the next.
Loved the final Stannis scene right before the end. It was a good touch.

I like how the focus was solely on King's Landing characters and Stannis' men.
No Arya, no Robb and Catelyn, no Jaime and Brienne, no Jon, no Dany.
The focus was good. Of course it was, George R. R. Martin wrote the episode.

You have more persistence than me. I gave up watching after watching "The Old Gods and the New". Since the battle of Blackwater was such a big event in A Clash of Kings, I was curious to see how it would be received here without spending the time to actually watch it.

Some will like it, some won't.
I particularly liked how hilariously badass it was seeing Tyrion lop off some dude's leg right from where he was standing only to kill the man immediately after.
That was AWESOME.
Oh, and The Hound. Sandor Clegane. Stood out to me in this episode as being especially badass.
Especially when drunk.

Oh, I'm sure some will l like it and some won't. XD I was thinking more along the lines of details. At least Tyrion actually fought in this battle. They made him look incompetent in the last one.
