They're giving one away on the @GameofThrones twitter. You have to follow them and tweet the reason why you watch GoT. #SDCCGoTFan

Thats a badass 360, but I don't care whether or not I get one.

I just wish you could BUY it.

They aren't for sell?  To bad, they probably could of made a good chunk of change.

I'd probably buy it, then give away the 360S I have(still functional and in perfect condition).

Or perhaps just buy it for a friend. It'd likely be 300 bucks.

The buzz on Twitter is that Ramsay has been cast.  I think this guy was a fan pick.

Iwan Rheon

It's still rumor, but he's in Belfast and his CV is showing Game of Thrones, listed as "Boy."

Emma Peel [aka Diana Rigg] as the Queen of Thornes... Now that's an inspired piece of casting. As someone said on ASoIaF forum... We got our Dame after all!

Just read the first book, it was pretty good. The show is pretty close to the book.

Only the first season is like that. It starts to deviate more as the seasons progress.

The main plot is still there, a lot of events remain unchanged, but there ARE some big changes.

I just read the second book, and it is quite different.

I wonder if anyone else, like me, has been put off a bit by that. I guess if people feel it's in the spirit of the books, it's easy to overlook.

I gradually started to lose interest and now have stopped even recording it to 'watch later'.

Nice! Don't know much about him at all, but he looks kind of how I pictured Ramsay.

And look! Its Theon and Ramsay partying with Brienne and Jaime!:wizard:

It's good to see Theon and Ramsay "bonding." *snicker*

Lavery's is kind of a sh*t hole. They must be staying in the hotel across the road, for I see no other reason to go there.

Brienne looks very very different. It's possibly just the fact she's grinning.

Hyped about all the new characters. Wonder how hard it's gonna be for people to keep track though.
Gonna take some adjusting to get used to Brutus being Edmure. lol.

Don't know if this was posted yet. It's a guy impersonaing various GoT characters quite well.

According to Maureen Ryan, Dominic West turned down a fairly major role on Game of Thrones...one that would have required him to spend significant time in Iceland.

Dammit, he could have been Mance Rayder!

Must be you have to have watched The Wire to wish that. I still want to see Kevin McKidd in the role.

I haven't been paying much attention. Just don't care anymore. Oona Chaplin tweeted that she was taking riding and archery lessons, and that just made me eyeroll. She's a lovely woman but the idea that they're turning "Talisa" into a warrior princess makes me want to hurl.

Heh, I heard of that. He stated that he didn't want to spend 6 months away from his family. Later on, a friend had scolded him from turning down such an offer. West had never watched GoT before.

Shame.

Addai I'd recommend Three Kingdoms if you want to a show with real complexity, subtlety and realistic warfare unlike GoT.

Personally I've reached the point where I say Benioff and Weiss have ****ed an excellent book series.

Well it seems they got another Rome actor for Mance Rayder instead- Ciarán Hinds

Seems quite a bit older than how I imagined Mance, but the guy is a good actor. It'll be interesting to see his version of Mance. I can't help but think he likely wasn't their top choice though.

They just need to give McKidd and Purefoy roles on the show now. Thinking about it, Polly Walker would have made a good Cersei...

Saw that. Ciaran Hinds is a great actor, no doubt, just doesn't fit my idea of Mance. Not enough of the physicality I imagined, and yes older.
