Hard to imagine this guy with the blue hair and three pronged beard. Plus, if the actor can portray Daario's boastful personality

I've been reading through the first book and I'm surprised at how much younger everybody is. I guess that can explain some more of Robb's and Jon's stupidity. It's frusterating watching all of the mistakes of Eddard Stark though.

No I also hate Daenerys, I'm going to be upset if she ends up on the Iron Throne (I'm actually hoping Stannis gets it, because I don't like how Aegon has just sort of been thrust on us out of nowhere I'd prefer someone we've been following the whole time to get it) But yeah Daenerys I find to be really irritating and a bit foolish to. As for Jon, I also find him Irritating and Don't care for him unless the R+L=J theory turns out to be true which sounds like an interesting story arc

I like Jon Snow but he seems to enjoy behaving like an idiot. In the books he seems somewhat smarter at least.

I'm no fan of Daenerys however, I don't understand why she has this army of fanboys. I'd rather have anybody on the Iron Throne but her.

Haven't been following season 3 stuff much recently but according to WiC, it seems they've casted somebody for Vargo Hoat... except they're possibly renaming Vargo Hoat "Locke" and possibly getting rid of the Brave Companions and turning their role into that of Bolton bannermen.

Disappointing but whatever. Just disappointed we'll never get to hear "Kingthlayer."

Not sure that's a terrible loss. I've never particularly liked the Bloody Mummers, and since the Harrenhall segments of ACoK were altered anyways this seems like a more sensible way to do it. Introducing the Goat as a Bolton bannerman will probably help to better convey that the Boltons are turncoats for Tywin (since Roose has also been with Robb the entire time in the show), and avoid having to do a lot of backtracking to explain why a foreign mercenary working for Tywin is now working for the Boltons and so on.

At lease the bear pit scene is still in. Also probably indicates that Roose is going to break off from Robb's force and go take Harrenhall in the absence of Tywin.

I liked the Bloody Mummers being this ragtag group of people from all around the world since they made the world feel like a more connected place. And their presence reinforces how bad things have gotten with the war that you have mercenaries like them roaming around in addition to people like the Mountain. And they served as a nice supplement to the Brotherhood without Banners, in terms of being a mercenary group. Not every fighting force in Westeros and Essos is associated with any king or lord, some just fight for money. And this especially comes into play by the time you get to A Dance with Dragons.

Its not necessarily a huge loss, but Vargo and the Bloody Mummers were all pretty unique characters in my mind, especially for being such minor characters they were all pretty memorable. Even just the name is unique. The show seems to do a great job of neutering minor characters and make them far less interesting than the books.

I think its been said its going to be episode 9 this season. Its definitely happening this season at least.

Episode 9? Much like Ned's death and the Battle of Blackwater(which I watched again last night because goddamn it if it wasn't the best episode thus far of the program).

Seems Episode 9 is reserved for big moments.

I'm like 99% sure it's going to be in season 3. It would be dumb of HBO to not include it.

@LPprince Yeah, I'm pretty sure I read he's writing one of the last episodes of the season.
