Season 3 premieres March 31st in the US,  April 1st in the UK.

Episodes will be nearly 60 minutes this year rather than 52 minutes as in previous seasons, so it's almost an extra episode of content total.

SEASON 3 TRAILER

If you've read the book, you can probably pick out quite a few big scenes. Looks pretty awesome to me! I don't doubt they've made some changes from the books, but hopefully this season is better than last. Looks interesting at the bare minimum, especially the prospects of showing one storyline that isn't shown directly in the books that the trailer seems to insinuate they'll show (Reek reek it rhymes with freak).

A great trailer. I can't wait to see Spoilers sections with the unsullied and all the LOTR-esque battle scenes. I just finished the 3rd book yesterday oddly enough, so it's well-timed.

I think it was Dragonstone, just in the daytime? Or maybe its Riverrun?

On second look, I'm pretty sure its Dragonstone. Over at Winter is Coming somebody posted screenshots of Dragonstone from season 2 and comparing the two it seems the same.


There are quite a few awesome scenes in that trailer. Just seeing Tormund Giantsbane was great.

Definitely. I'm still thinking they may have to do two seasons to cover Storm of Swords however, that book just seemed so vast compared to the previous two.
