Horrible choice for credit song. Absolutely horrible, imagine if that played after Ned Stark's execution? Ridiculous.

I liked the episode but it's nothing special. Robb, while a brilliant strategist, is a pretty poor leader though the situation in the book is even worse even if his strategy was better. You can't just make strategies and not tell your commanders what to do and expect them to get it on their own, especially an imbecile like Edmure.

What do you think they might do with Gendry? It seems obvious he is going to provide the blood for R'hllor's leeches but beyond that? He might be a bit too popular to just disappear with the Brotherhood.
I'm envisioning him being taken to Dragonstone and Davos saving him from burning.

Speaking of which, that was such an adorable scene between those three kids

Obviously its just in the credits, but apparently when pirates downloaded the episode, the song started 20 seconds before the credits, effectively ruining the scene

The bad news is that Jaime lost his sword hand. The good news is that he's going to get a fair bit of character development.

Last night's episode is really just about getting everyone into position for next week (Mormont at Craster's, Danny offering to sell Drogon, Arya and Thoros heading to Riverrun). I'm also glad that they skipped over all of that business with Theon and Roles Bolton's bastard.

Supposedly Edric Storm's storyline has been merged into Gendry's. I think you're right, it's because Gendry's become too popular to simply go off page with the Brotherhood until near the end of A Feat for Crows, but I'm not sold on it yet.
