A Song of Ice and Fire is one of the best series of novels available. Definitely pick A Game of Thrones, A Clash of Kings, A Storm of Swords, A Feast for Crows, and A Dance with Dragons up.

We still have The Winds of Winter and A Dream of Spring to go as well.

A decade? Maybe two... then we'll get to read our books. We'll need to develop technology that stores consciousness soon... just incase.

I feel that its purpose is to ease that transition from Theon to Reek more efficiently. His character will go through major developments, but most of our information (as readers) comes from Theon's mind.

I think they should have just one more scene. One more scene which cuts to black just as it looks like Ramsey is going to kill him. Then, the audience thinks he's dead until... ta da! He's not.

What is dead may never die, but rises again, harder and stronger ...

... unless your (new) name rhymes with weak :)

At least he didn't pour alcohol, lime juice, and salt over it.

Nothing like a margarita to pour over your severed dong, right?

Yeah, I was saying that when I watched it. For once, Joffrey had a point- perhaps something SHOULD be done about the dragons. But Tywin puts his faith in those sending messages from abroad and ends up convincing Joff that he knows better.

Everyone takes a misstep at least once. :)

I wouldn't expect Tywin to misstep. If his spies are relaying information, then he knows Dayneris is engaged in a conflict in the East, while he still has Robb Stark to crush, and Stannis Baratheon, as well as the Tullys to deal with and the scheming of the Tyrells to counter, while the Grey Joys are at war in the North.

I don't think any of that is lost on Lord Tywin, but one thing at a time. Like Tyrion said, "One problem at a time."

Undisputed evidence that we in the BSN are worse than the worst in Westeros

Edit: I think some chips drowned in vinegar and salt would fill his stomach better.

Spoiler for later books...

While what you say is true, he is also probably being fed bad information by Varys.  I think there's a good chance he's underrating Daenerys for that reason.  The wording of that scene was suggestive, when he mentioned being counseled.

^ He is another sample of series' insanely good casting. Actor does great job capturing monster within. He isn't  plain or homely in fashion Ramsay I imagined when reading.. but monster? For sure.

Since I'm all out of my other Ommegang Brewery ales, I'll be having an Iron Throne Blonde Ale mañana.
