I do not envy the man who's (supposedly) brother to Dany.
P.S Poor Jorah, just one more man in his way.

So stannis baratheon is directly responsible for the red wedding and for the whole kings landing tragedy, and for getting One-eye McBluelips in power?
Nah. While I believe there's definitely something supernatural answering the Red Priests, it's easy to see the historical reasons why each of those died. The problem of course is that Stannis is going to believe that Stannis is directly responsible. Poor Davos.
I don't know, coincidence is something I believe in, but there are some things that push what is coincidence and what is influenced in part by something else.
These deaths were planned long before her voodoo sex magic (I would let her leech me any day of the week...just saying.) But Balon? Perhaps there was some magic involved.

I wish Daario didn't kill the Titan's Bastard. I wanted Barristan to boldly shove a sword through his throat.
It'd be far more badass if he had his staff.

Maybe the rain is really to blame?
Back on topic, I love that they have departed from the books. It means what I remember from the books is largely of no use and so I can mostly see the program with fresh eyes.

They haven't really departed from the books. There are still some changes but its not outlandish like main characters who are alive in the books dying or whatever.
Aye, and those changes still don't defect from major plot-points. The plot is more-or-less intact from its original source. It's not like Drogo died from falling of a cliff and Dany has black hair...and is also a man.

Ew, incest.
Considering this is a plot twist most fans expect, Martin will make sure it isn't true.

Wow, the thread has gotten very spoilerific. Just a reminder, this was supposed to be a place where TV-only people wouldn't have to worry about that. We have a book discusison thread that's a spoiler free-for-all.
Good to know. I just assumed spoilers were fine here since they've been common since as long as I've been reading this thread.

It's true, I'd bet a considerable amount of money on it, and I'd doubt the 'most fans' part.
Also, Martin seems to maintain a strict attitude of not being influenced by what fans think or expect, so it's not going to change because the dedicated internet connected fans have predicted it.

Ouch. I did that with A Clash of Kings and I found that I did not enjoy the season half as much as I did the first. Thus why I chose to read ahead to DwD.
How's it going for you, btw?
