Nobody ever suffers a death befitting their status. Dany's going to get to Westeros and then is going to trip on a flight of stairs and die or something.

Ned and Robb's deaths were because of their naivety, they had it coming. Daenerys already had her naivety cost her dearly, she'll probably never use the stairs and just climb out her window onto her dragon and ride off to neverending story.

They were naive, but I wouldn't say they had it coming. They made mistakes and paid the price, but as individuals they deserved better fates. The Starks just seem to have worse luck than the Lannisters and Dany in regards to the consequences of their actions.

I'm also referring to the fate of some other "major" characters (specifically in Storm of Swords) as well. Death comes for where it isn't expected, no glorious last stands on the field of battle, etc.

I'm no fan of Dany, so if she drowns in a bowl of soup or something I wouldn't mind.

In Winds of Winter, Daenerys will die by eating oatmeal with eggs that melt to reveal dinosaur candy, she'll choke on the red dragon candy and we'll never hear from her again.

Westeros is set before packaging labels could warn people of choking hazards.
