Well, the series surprised me in a good way other times with the casting so I'll not judge until I see the season. lol

But I imagined him more Oded Fehr in The Mummy.

The casted guy doesn't look arabian enough for my taste to fit the roll of a salt Dornishman, but if he acts good I don't care.

I would have paid money to see Alexander Siddig as Oberyn!

Oberyn Martell has been casted

Well that is a disappointment.

Though neither was I pleased about Ciaran Hinds playing Mance Rayder and he surprised me. Still would have been more content with an e.g. Arabian, but I will give this guy a chance.

I always perceived Dorne to be Spain, though. That has Arab influences of course but a Spanish actor seems appropriate to me.

I wonder who should play Bloodraven? Or Wyman Manderly?

I always thought Oberyn was black. Even if the book may have said otherwise, I just pictured him as a black dude.

Imagine they get him to play Victarion and Ray Stevenson to play Euron.

It would call for this.

Who do you guys consider the main characters in the series? I know this show has several POV's but still. Name 3-5 if you want to

Jon Snow, Daenerys and Tyrion. I cant see them all living until the end of the series.
At least one will die, probably Dany as she seems the least like an outcast and is the most cliched and Martin loves killing off the cliche characters eg Robb Stark.

So for ASoI&F her surviving would be the surprise.

Martin has stated he´s going for a bittersweet ending, but I have no idea what he considers bittersweet. Let´s hope it´s not the same as Walters & Hudson, but I wouldn´t be surprised if no main character survives the ending.

Strange. What do you mean by "Walters & Hudson"?

Mac Walters and Casey Hudson, the two who decided to try writing Mass Effect 3's ending by themselves and inadvertently caused the colossal storm of negativity that Mass 3 got.

Ah pity then. Also, Neil Marshall is going to direct the Season 4 finale which takes place at the Wall.

Of course, Winter is Coming has said that the information from this article isn't entirely accurate.

Hopefully they'll cast someone to play Donal Noye. He is exactly a requirement for the show since anyone can basically replace him, but I sure hope they would and get someone awesome for the role.

How far are you in the series? Have you read the books yet?

If Varys considers Baelish the most dangerous man in Westeros, why not have him simply murdered? All because he enjoys mentally sparring with him?

Baelish would see it coming. Even if he didn't, Baelish's death would cause some rather huge ripples in Westeros which may not be best for its survival.

There's also the "devil you know" angle.

I mean, Baelish isn't trying to kill Varys, so hey.
