Anyway, I saw this Game of Thrones spoof yesterday. It's done up like the trailer for a comedy movie, and it's hilarious as hell. You've got to watch it:
Medieval Land Fun-Time World
The people who came up with this are geniuses.

After red wedding, I've lost hope anyone in the story has a soul. Maybe Brienne does. But it's all too grim and pessimistic for me when any character would sell their own mother for pennies. Also, Vikings does fight choreography way better.
To me it feels pretty much like the same setting as TW. You find it grimmer?

I meet Jack Gleeson in Dublin today, he was really nice.
That's what a ton of people say about him. It's sad that the kid is probably forever typecast after GoT.

I like him. I had a slightly different picture in my mind because of the artwork of some ASOIAF boardgame or other that I've played before, but I think he fits the role.

Daenerys was always one of my most despised characters in the books and, despite my fears, It seems the show will not shy away from showing just how much of a political ****storm she will cause in Meeren due to her naivety just because she is a fan favorite like they did with Tyrion; I'm referring to things like making his relationship with Shae seemingly genuine rather than false and abusive or not have him cook a bard, etc.
As of now, I'm excited for this new season. Let's hope it delivers.

Wonderful to watch. Also more Daenerys craziness. I wonder if any of her fanboys will start to see her for the mentally unstable Targaryen she really is.
I don't really think she is mentally unstable.......
....in the books that is.

BE THE GOOD GIRL, YOU'RE ALWAYS MEANT TO BE
but Westeros isn't some Disney kingdom where that type of attitude will work. Maybe it would if you associated yourself with all the right people, but she certainly hasn't done that. Its pretty much impossible. Her efforts to remain bright and good natured in a world filled with schemers and manipulators sometimes makes her look like she's lost it, but she's just a bit misguided.
