The speed at which Oberyn goes from confident to screaming in agony, holy hell

They sure made Oberyns death every bit as brutal as it was in the books. Damn. Unfortunately the Mountain didn't look to be dying enough for my tastes. You should have really been able to tell that he has sustained mortal wounds, and that move to kill Oberyn was the last of his strength.
I was partly hoping they'd change the outcome of the fight in the the show so that both The Mountain and Oberyn would be dead right there and then.
Also:
WTF is Arya laughing about? Jorah Mormont ought to have hired a lawyer. The Boltons are the family of the year.

Haven't read the books myself -- figured I gotta just pick a side and go with it. I wasn't 100% sure he was dying, but I thought it was pretty likely.

Hey, finding out that you've been wasting your time for weeks is kinda funny, from a certain point of view. And as LPPrince says, it's the second fail. Though considering why the first try failed...

See, this is why I needed to start watching Once Upon A Time.
Less grisly. Then again I read A Song of Ice and Fire so you know, you'd think I'd be used to it by now.

Petyr Baelish saying how people die on their chamberpots? Nobody important would ever die in such an unbefitting manner.

What still creeps me out is my stepfather always has a smile on his face when he sees Theon in the state that he's in, constantly getting beat down in some fashion by Ramsay.
I ask him about it and he still relishes in it, claiming that Theon deserves it all.
"Mom, you know you sleep next to this guy, right?"

Some dude who's an EMT said even he cringed at the sight.
That was pretty bad on some folks. Internet's telling us that this will definitely be remembered.
I'm happy to read that more and more people are trying A Song of Ice and Fire now as the show progresses.
Good, they should.
