Anyway I cried, that was great directing, I don't think the scene would have been nearly as sad on paper.

 

I guess cinema people would have drooled at the panning one shot. The camera work as they were storming the back door was really interesting as well.

 

Most of the fight choreography was quite nice.

 

Great aww moment with Sam and gigi gali. But then he goes and ruin it by mostly being a coward again. Though I guess he would have died otherwise.

 

Why does Jon seem to think he's invincible? Has he not seen the show?

 

Why didn't bearded cool bro and co. stick their sword through the gate grating? I guess it wouldn't completely kill the Rumpelstiltskin, but still.

 

The whiteout to the end credits was reeeeally weird.

 

Best episode? Wut? Did I miss Arya or Tyrion somewhere? Possibly the most spectacular this season though, yea, Blackwater 2.0, again with the fire too. Except it's not green. That was just weird.

No, she wasn't. She began to release the tension on the bowstring by allowing it to fall back to its normal position, rather than getting ready to fire.

 

The director was Neil Marshall

 

Same guy who directed Blackwater of Season 2. These are the only two episodes of Game of Thrones he's directed.

Its in the scene. Its veeery subtle. I shoot arrows so I know that if you begin to lose the full draw on your bow, you should just let it come to rest and then draw again. She was hesitating, and thus began to let it come to rest, before SHOT THROUGH THE HEART, AND YOU'RE TOO LATE

It would explain a lot, though, about how Ned acts. Like he is terrified/furious about even talking about Jon's parentage to anyone. That he would randomly cheat on his wife with any random broad. How he seemed to act very awkward when Robert wanted to visit Lyanna's statue... little things.

On a different note... the teaser for next week, ending with the dragons roaring... their heads seem HUGE. Like, ridiculously huge. And green? I didn't realize the dragons were that green.

Right at the :29 mark, for less than a second. They seem like they are big enough to swallow people whole. And they both look green, to me? I thought there was only one green one. Seemed odd.
