Also; Robb Stark- stabbed in heart once, dies instantly.
Dude who bit the Hound's neck- stabbed (shallow wound) in the heart once, dies instantly
the Mountain- stabbed viciously in the heart, survives and kills attacker with bare hands...
Sounds legit

The Mountain is half Krogan, so I think he's inherited a few hearts.

We know this because The Mountain's heart was three sizes too small...

His body grew yet his heart shrunk. There's poetry in that.

Eh, there are a number of things about that fight that bother me. I think the head explosion was excessive. In the books, the Mountain punches him to death, which cracks his skull.
I also thought the spear vs greatsword was portrayed incorrectly. Oberyn doesn't use the spear to clash head on with Gregor's greatsword. As he explains to Tyrion, the point of the spear is to stay back and counter his reach. Oberyn's use of the spear is meant to tire Gregor out, similar to how Bronn does in the Vale. As Gregor tires out, Oberyn begins doing pinpoint strikes on the gaps in his armor.
Maybe these are small changes, but I think they serve to portray Oberyn as a much less deadly character than he is in the books. The spear twirling comes off as another attempt to make him appear show-offy and different, without the added context the books provide us.

I cheered when Ygritte got shot, thats what you get for slaughtering innocent defenseless villagers and feeling badass while doing it.
I mostly liked Ygritte but there was some bittersweet justice to that scene. I mean she did shoot that boys dad in the head with an arrow so..

Out of all villagers, she chose to shoot the dad walking with his young kid.
I'm glad the kid got vengeance. I only wonder if he actually knows he killed his father's murderer.

Also that Ygritte scene, while I kina enjoyed it being left ambigious how and who exactly shot her in the books, I enjoyed this version a bit more. But that has mainly to do with me preferring the TV show Ygritte a bit more than the book one, since she is horrible in the books and mostly serves to further characterize Jon.

She helped Gilly though. I thought that was supposed to make her likable. Don't think she knew she was a wildling
