Brienne was more skilled than the Hound in the show. It's there. Irrefutable.

How did Brienne have a disadvantage, it's not pokemon.

Waste time crying over a fight that will probably never happen in the books if you want, but I'm done.

Wait, i thought this fight happened in the books?

The books also say Brienne is a great fighter, so i don't see why she wouldn't win the hound.

It does not happen in the book but  even int he book it's made clear she's one oft he best fighters in westros. Really, people are just mad because a woman beat the hound.

Don't get me wrong, the scene could have been done better, they should have showed his sickness alot better, but her beating the hound? I don't see anything wrong with it because it's not a massive departure like pateu is making it out to be.

But it is.

Jaime was owning Brienne when he was fighting her and he was malnourished and out of training after captivity.

Jaime listed Sandor as one of the few that could beat him.

And last of all, if Loras was a Pokemon would he be a Grass/Fairy type or just a pure Fairy type?

I like the part where you have no argument whatsoever and think trolling is a good substitute.

Someone already posted the quote of what Jaime though of her in the book, you decided to ignore because reasons. There's no point arguing with you because you are living in your own world refusing to listen to any evidence.

Not my intention.

In their eyes, if one makes a case that it is ridiculous for a character ( which happens to be female ) to beat another ( which happens to be male ), you're a sexist pig.

He wasn't thinking it, he was trying to intimidate someone.

He also said she's uglier than the Mountain, but that doesn't make Jaime gay, does it?

Learn to differentiate between hyperbole/In Character statements and Out of character statements, which are canon.

I linked GRRM's statement which says Gregor is much larger than Brienne, which means he's stronger.

End of story.

Being taller doesn't necessarily make Gregor stronger, and it certainly doesn't make the much smaller Hound any more powerful than Brienne.

He's certainly a golden god...

Get it? Because he's got a gold hand. Because his real one got chopped off.

I really like making jokes about Jaime getting his hand chopped off. There must be something seriously wrong with me.

Jamie needed a hand up, not a hand off.

Wait.

Man Jaime lost a hand, Tyrion lost a nose, in the books anyway.

Cersei should lose an eye or a toe.

It does, when you're made up of mostly muscle.

Neither the Hound nor Gregor are said to be fat. It's safe to assume they're made up of muscle. More weight = more muscle = strength.

Why do you assume Sandor is more muscled than Brienne? That is never stated. If anything, the Hound seems to be only top tier warrior who doesn't seem to work to keep their strength.

Why would I assume he is not? He is taller, seen as the better fighter throughout the realm and he shares the same genes as Gregor.

Being seen as the better fighter doesn't make one a better fighter- it just means that the opponent is less proven. Brienne is not much shorter than the Hound, and swordfighting isn't carried genetically.

Also, the better fighter doesn't always win.

Boxing is a good example of this. Muhammad Ali might have been the best boxer that ever lived. He still lost 5 fights.

In boxing you have people fighting those of the same weight category. Duels are different.

That isn't a good comparison.

Yes it is.

Brienne wouldn't be of a different weight class than the Hound. Brienne is supposed to be well over 6 feet tall and muscular. In any case size and weight are are not as meaningful when you're fighting with swords.

I have no problem accepting that Brienne of Tarth defeated an exhausted, weakened Sandor Clegane. She's quite strong and a skilled fighter, that's just fact. I'm not completely happy with how exactly the fight was presented, but I have no big problem with the outcome. I was pretty surprised actually to find out today that this seems to be a huge controversy on the internet. Let's just not discuss this any further and risk another lockdown.

The biggest fighting scene problem I had lately I'd say was in the previous episode, when the cannibal smashed Jon's face on an anvil and it didn't do as much as faze him for a moment. But from time to time such things happen, even on GoT.

And let's just never speak again of the "best men" the Iron Islands had to offer, armored and armed, standing around awestruck watching a half-naked guy slowly pull a key out of his his arse before equally slowly starting to release one or two dogs at a time with it. They had no chance at all and fleeing was the only option. What is derp may never die.

Jaime is awesome because he's played by none other than Nikolaj. It is funny to see how much he looks like his character from the movie Nightwatch, by the time of Season 4.

Oh, and his characterization from the books, plus the growth and complexity to his motives and worldviews are a plus too!
