I've finally caught up on all the episodes. I generally prefer the books, though I like how some characters are portrayed. I especially love Jaime in the show. I'm generally alright with the changes made in the show as well, so long as they keep the general story going.
As for other characters:
Daenerys in the show is like Liara in Mass Effect. She's about as much of a mary-sue as it gets. Though granted, this portrayal might not last much longer if GRRM is doing what I think he's doing in the books. I like Daenerys, I just don't like her when she's portrayed as an outright messianic figure. She needs to really get her ass handed to her on a plate, and the Iron Throne will do that to her.
Cersei is a bit more sympathetic... for now.
Still wondering where the hell Arianne Martell is and why she's not going to be in Season 5.
Littlefinger is portrayed to be obviously evil, which, despite Aidan Gillan's performance, just doesn't work for me compared to the books.
Varys is portrayed to be too much of a benevolent force.
Has this been posted yet?
'I like this guy'
Never has Joffrey been so funny.
That said, I'm surprised they didn't get Emilia Clarke to do the voice. Seth MacFarlane was dating her at the time.
Wrong Seth. Robot Chicken is made by Seth Green.

And Seth MacFarlane is a close associate of Seth Green (and was clearly credited in the video). If he wanted too, he could easily have gotten Emilia Clarke to voice a part.
Oh yeah he does some voices on it.
Then who knows.
Seth Green > Seth from Superbad > Seth the gas-station employee > some dog named Seth > Seth Macfarlane
Seth Green > Seth from Superbad > Seth the gas-station employee > some dog named Seth > Seth Macfarlane
Do not diss Seth MacFarlane. That man helped Cosmos get made.
By the way, if anybody is interested, here's the entire series, free to watch. It should work, just scroll down to the episode list and pick an episode.

Is it true someone figured out GoT's ending is Jon Snow and that Khaleesi girl winning the Iron Throne?

Dany won't get within spitting distance of the throne, as for Snow... the book readers have a leg up on this
have some humor

The Others wipe out Westeros. In Essos, Illyrio continues to pimp. He moves to Asshai with Jorah and they start an IT company. Jorah cheats him out of millions by stealing his idea and moves to Ibben and uses his wealth to retire and become a whale-whisperer. Illyrio goes to Ussos and finds the Qunari, thus setting the stage for Dragon Age.
Jaime Lannister gets drunk and finds out that he married Daenerys. He finds out that he was drunk when his hand got cut off and that he actually sliced it off when Vargo Hoat and his gang just wanted to show them their cool jousting field. He ends up as king on the Iron Throne, and in a cool twist of fate, kills himself while drunkenly acting out his killing of the Mad King to his new wife. Jon Snow subsequently revives him as a Wight, and everything's cool again.
Jon Snow cries about the loss of his family 'wolf pack' and moves to Casterly Rock to make the Lannisters into his new wolf pack. He brings a few of the Others with him to bring members of the cast back to life as Wights and lives semi-happily with undead Ygritte and Val.
Tyrion Lannister successfully creates Planetos' first penis extension. He is regarded across the land's as the longest short dude in existence, using his newfound wealth to found a Cadet branch of the Lannister family. Their sigil is the mighty clam.
Stannis, finally giving up on ever getting the Iron Throne, sells his lifestory to a comic book company who ends up making a fortune on their most famous character 'Stannis the Mannis'. Stannis is of course, paid very poorly. He and Melisandre proceed to murder them all with Shadow Assassin's. They subsequently move to the Lonely Light and screw all day and all night.
Victarion Greyjoy accidentally blows into the Dragon Horn while furiously trying to show idiot Pyke bastards how to make sounds with it. Instead of dying while taming a dragon however, Victarion finds out too late that the ancient Valyrian texts about the horn have been misinterpreted: instead of taming dragons, it is the sound of a female dragon in heat, and soon Victarion is hunted down by Drogon, Viserion, and Rhaegal and brutally gang-raped.
Daenerys Targaryen never recovered her throne. Instead, she lost everything over her poor handling and leadership of Slaver's Bay. In despair and loneliness, she entered a tavern where she ran into the drunken Jaime Lannister, who mistook her accusations of him being her father's murderer (and indeed her) as more of Cersei's whining and bitching. She ended up in bed with him because she was desperate to reclaim some scant connection with her past, even if it was a fleeting night of drunken misreading and lack of consent from the man who killed her father. When Jaime awoke, he found himself with a foul headache and wondered why Cersei suddenly turned into a Targaryen, and soon became even more disturbed by his now missing hand.
I hear Arya and Jon snow reunite after Arya assasinates Cersei and they fall in love and end up ruling together.
edit: nvm, that sounds too cheerful. we can strike this theory out.
Moar edditz: The theory is Song of Ice and Fire will end the series and the reason its named Ice and Fire is because Jon Snow and Daenerys will hook up to rule the lands or something to that effect.
Im still holding out for Arya Stark winning everything at life though.
In case you missed this. ![]()

Legal? Questionable. ![]()
Legal? Questionable.
In all fairness, I don't really care if it's legal or not.

Fat chance. Not gonna happen. It's doubtful Daenarys will ever make it to Westeros, not to mention survive it and somehow make it up to the wall.

Honestly, it would be shitty writing if Daenerys didn't make it to Westeros, but it would also be shitty writing if she didn't have some kind of tremendous fall from grace.
Martin's setting her up for something big, and it's not going to be good for her.
All hail King Rickon of House Stark, Third of his name, King of the First Men, King of Winter, protector of the realm, the King in the North
long may he reign

My guess is she ends up in Mereen regardless, either she loses the battle and dies there or wins and decides to stay.
Of course, there is a chance the Ironborn take her across the sea and it happens. But that would be too simplistic.

Eaten by her dragons. It's the most likely scenario when dumb people keep exotic pets.
