"He brought the Seven Kingdoms a golden age during his time as Hand under Aerys."

Yeah,  a 'golden age' for  psychos with their psycho king. L0L

"Stannis isn't religious at all."

\I know. I'm just mocking his dependency on religion to get what he wants even if it means allowing mass murder to happen not to mention the cold blooded murder of his brother. He and his bro likely would have been able to come to some sort of agreement if it wasn't for the fire  priestess. Plus, it's also almost guaranteed that he will likely lose his wife, daughter, or himself (maybe all 3) directly because of his ties to  the Firehair. And, no way does Westeros allows him to remain on the throne for long with that woman backing him.

The S5 preview looks... SWEET!!!

Before Robert's War for the Throne many of the common people had no idea how bad things were with Aerys, he limited his crimes to the nobility

You keep throwing the term mass murder around, and I keep calling you on it, but here we go again.

Stannis has had 5 men executed since the beginning of the series.

1. Alester Florent, executed for treason.
2. Rattleshirt the wildling. Whom he thought was mance rayder.
3. The three peasbury soldiers that committed cannibalism.

The most men he has had executed at once were the 3 Peasburys. That is not mass murder. You really shouldn't toss around terms you dont understand.

Bro you don't understand how serious five murders are, those Peasbury's didn't even do anything wrong, nothing at all. And it's not as if Rattleshirt was a terrible man, not at all, the most noble of all wildlings.

On another note, has anyone heard the rumours for a possible Robert's Rebellion movie?

Oh interesting! I wonder who could play Robert if that were the case. I can't picture anyone that's younger and strong because all I see is fat, drunk Robert from the show.

Yeah not sure, Mark Addy has never been a picture of health, but even if he did do some mad workout alike Chris Pratt did, he wouldn't look like the Robert anyone's described, so I've got no idea.

I only mention this cause the guy who played Tywin said he still had more to do with the series and hinted at something to do with the Rebelliion.

Charles Dance is awesome! I'd love to see more of him as Tywin. I hope it's true and they are making something more.

Well good news for you as he's all but confirmed to make an appearance in season 5. For his funeral and a flashback no doubt

I've stayed away from most things concerning Season 5, so I didn't know that! I'm glad he's back even for a tiny bit. But I want more of him! I could see an entire show or movie just dedicated to him and the Lannisters.

I think I'd explode just watching Lannisters plot. But seeing the Reins and Tarbecks very quickly fade into nothing would be a good premise.

Charles Dance was definitely the best casting call in the show. Fit Tywin like a glove. Dude probably killed that deer he was skinning in the first scene we saw him in just by disapprovingly glaring at it, and it died from pure intimidation.

^ best scenes in the show are the ones where Tywin made Joffrey soil himself just by glaring at him/walking towards him menacingly/putting the little twit in his place. Not gonna be the same without it

I like all the Lannister casting a lot. From to Tywin to Tyrion to Joffrey with some Jaime and Cersei.

I personally think Stephen Dillane was a brilliant choice for Stannis. Physically they may not look the same: in the books Stannis is described as tall, broad shouldered, intimidating whereas Dillane is merely an average sized man. But he nails Stannis's glare, his fixed jaw, his dry voice and makes himself look as powerful as Stannis in the book.

And of course Charles Dance is perfect for Tywin. I unfortunately saw him play the role before I read the books so even when he was described very differently in the books I couldn't imagine him to look like anything other than Charles Dance..

90% of the main characters are well cast even if some don't match perfectly to book versions. ie. Tyron is  way uglier in book but hard to diss the actor.

Pedro Pascal made a fantastic Oberyn too, perfect casting there.

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau is pretty great too, I don't think anyone can deny Jaime's monologue to Brienne in the bathtub is an amazing bit of acting.

He's also a fellow Dane, which is a plus.

Tyrion also lost his entire nose in the books, but I can let that slide because that would take hours for make up (if not money for special effects).

Before Robert's War for the Throne many of the common people had no idea how bad things were with Aerys, he limited his crimes to the nobility

Also Jaime prevented him from committing his greatest crime, and one that would have affected the common folk. He was going to burn King's Landing rather than let Robert have it.

On another note, has anyone heard the rumours for a possible Robert's Rebellion movie?

No. Is that actually a thing? I might cry tears of joy.

Some of the lore videos that HBO did on Robert's Rebellion were awesome.

It also seems like Bronn is in Dorne. It could well be that he has now completely taken over Ilyn Payne's role as Jaime's sparring partner and he travel's with Jaime to Dorne. I have absolutely no objection's to this.

Well as long as

We all know who is really gonna end up on the Throne, the House of Stokewater, led by Ser Bronn Kinght of the Blackwater
