I could have lived happily not seeing Ramsey butt naked.

Butts for everyone!

About the changes, I'm just confused about how they're so far ahead on certain things without other things happening that should be. Like in Jon's story. Shouldn't he have realized something about himself by now?

Apparently we're also not getting the Mummer's Dragon? I'm going to be pretty sad if he's cut out.

Guess they took the whole debacle of Jon Connington and put it on Jorah Mormont instead.

Plot twist:

Mormont doesn't care about Daenerys at all, he is only obsessed with her because she's Rhaegar's sister.

Also, the show has really diverted from the novels this season. I'm bitterly disappointed that Arianne, the "Griffs" and Pieman Manderly don't seem like they'll be part of the show, but I see that the number of characters and story arcs required to faithfully follow the books is too difficult for a 10-episode season show. Interesting to see where they take it. I mean the books themselves move at a snail's pace because of it already, it'd be impossible for a show to do it without seeming like it's just flaffing about with filler.

Did you just call me Sera?

GRRM I think was hoping that the TV show would go pretty slowly so he'd get the next book out in time. Not a chance. To me it seems like they're super rushing everything. I don't really get it.

I'm most bitter about Victarion.

I quite liked the last episode, but I really can't get over the fact that Ser Barristan died such a pointless death...

Meh, Ser Barristan lost his appeal when he became a Dany fanboy.

Barristan </3

Also a bit gutted about Ed. Be a bit more dolorous, dude! Don't let Stannis get the witty one liners!

Probably not considering Jorah is in love with Dany, and prior to that had fallen in love with another woman who was a gold digger that burned him.

While it appears they've folded at least one aspect of Jon Connington (greyscale) into Jorah, the character's romantic interests seem to be taken from book Jorah.

Speaking of greyscale...

I hope Jorah lasts long enough to die heroically in battle against the White Walkers in the final season. He is one of my favorite characters, so I'm hoping he isn't going to die this season.

Jorah Mormont is one of your favorite characters? Are you serious? He sold people into slavery ffs! Or is that alright with you? Maybe it's the reason why you like him in the first place...

Many people prefer Tywin over any Stark. He was a horrible man.

Does that make the people who liked him as a character horrible people too?

Obviously not.  Some people just like villains.

That's his whole chivalry thing. Entirely in character.

No it does not.

I like villians as well. However, it matters a great deal to me as to what crimes or wrongs they're committing. Beatings, murder, and torture are fine. Rape, slavery, and killing children (depends) is too far for me.

For example; I liked Darth Vader until I found out he killed children.

and obviously everybody who still likes Darth Vader must specifically like him because he murdered children.

You can like a character without being fine with everything they did. That's kind of the point of villains. They're the bad guys. They do bad things.

So to be clear, it's okay for the line to be set at "murder and torture", but once the villain crosses into rape and child murder, they're off the table?

I'm a moral subjectivist. I don't believe in such things as ethical truths. Which of course precludes the possibility of good or evil actions (at least in a conventional sense). I have how I feel, and that's really it.

If it serves a purpose or is practical to my goal, my well-being, or my agenda, then any action is acceptable

That's why I like characters like Tywin, Jaime, Bronn, and Roose Bolton.

Maybe you ought to learn to disagree with people without resorting to the straw man fallacy..

People have their reasons for liking Vader. I just have a hard time seeing past that Jedi temple slaughter. I didn't like that he murdered those desert alien people who im sure had kids with them but I was able to look past it and chalk it up as some horrible regrettable action that he took in a fit of rage. But he went to that temple for the sole purpose of killing those children and it turned me off of him. They are no threat and they've done you no wrong but you do it anyway because some old guy who was your enemy for most of your life told you to?

**** you Vader.
