They were gonna have some damn good potatoes for dinner before Ygritte killed them though.
Think of the potatoes.

Isn't Westeros basically England though?
The North being North English, the Wildlings being Scottish, and Southrons being Southern English. While the east is, I dunno, other places
It's, um, closer to Europe, or US i think, just narrower ![]()
it ends with Dorne in the south, which is mixture of spain and bit of arabian countries. GRRM said himself that westeros is around the size of northen American continent.
Extra Number 79 was probably an ******* dad anyway. Stannis is best dad in Westeros.
You're goddamn right he is!
Long live the Mannis!
Stannis the Mannis will probably be the best daddis until D&D makes him burn Shireen because he's had a refreshingly positive portrayal thus far in this season, it has to end sooner or later. Back to being henpecked by Mel.

Unfortunately I've been thinking the same thing. Why else would they ever attempt to make Stannis look intentionally good?

Hmm, maybe, I'd always envisioned the iron Islands to be a mix of Ireland and Scandinavia though.

He's getting thirsty for the Kool-Aid
OH MY GOD. JUST SAW THE EPISODE. IT WAS EFFING AWESOME.
Haven't liked this season so far, more of a book fan, but ![]()
Tonight's episode was so good!!
Last episode was great. I always like Jon Snow's action sequences, because Kit Harrington seems to be by far the best actor on the show when it comes to fight scenes. A lot of actors on the show seem to have no idea what they're doing with a sword, but he seems to do it without a hitch

I seem to recall hearing that he's also one of the few who can always do his action sequences in one continuous take, hence why Jon's fight scenes are often one really cool continuous long shot rather than a bunch of jarring cuts stitched together, like the Sand Snakes fight or the Unsullied fight this season for instance. Much nicer to watch.
This was the best episode of the season by a mile, and contests ''Blackwater'' and ''The Rains of Castamere'' for the position of best of the series, probably.
Sansa's scene with Reek was great.
Lena did a great job as Cercei.
Tyrion sassing Dany and her talking back made me smile. Until the corny ''break the wheel'' speech, but hey, nothing's perfect I guess.
Arya finally doing stuff for a change.
And of course Hardhome, a great battle sequence skillfully intermixed with the horror that befits a foe like the Walkers, Everything about it was amazing, but I loved the Walker's oshit look when Longclaw didn't shatter.
This episode was fantastic! After the Sand Snakes "fight" scene I was worried we were going to see more lackluster combat this season
. The entire Wildling scene was amazing, anyone else bummed that the female elder bit the dust so early? Really wished she survived.
Y'know, rewatching those scenes, I've gotta wonder...how the hell did Wun Wun the giant get inside that hut in the first place? Did they build it around him? Has he been there for ages now, waiting for the opportunity to burst out? :S

Aye, if anyone needed to verbally spar with Dany and maybe curb her annoying attitude, it's Tyrion.
My god, that look the Walker had when Longclaw clashed with his spear, the closest thing to fear a once human now nigh immortal being could come close to. I can sort of imagine a 'what the **** is this ****?' thought going through his head

Spoiler
I also think I heard that Kit does a certain amount of practice with a sword so that he can nail his fight scenes.
hurray bitchqueen is in jail! long live crookedsmiley queen and her child-husband!!
looks like the entire premise of the wall is to stop the draugrs from skyrim from spawning in their city. wheres dovahkiin when you need one? dat final scene, imagine a well-placed fusrodah! bodies everywhere! computers physics unseen since the likes of the great cheesewheel mod of 07.

sad thing is, i can see the arya character having a real life for herself if she was actually selling clams and making the best of things. ![]()

This so much! I can't wait for him to ask about her dragon problem. Seriously! Someone, ANYONE needs to address this gigantic elephant in the room! It's been 2 seasons and no one has questioned Dany's "control" over them!
Tyrion: So you can control three dragons
Dany: Well...the biggest one burned a child and sort of flew off somewhere
Tyrion: OK then, you can at least control two of them can't you?
Dany: Well...I locked up the two that sort of listened to me and now they've pretty much gone feral
Tyrion: So you have don't have control of any dragons
Dany: Nope
Tyrion: Well surely you must be using your resources to find information about dragon control right? I mean your ancestors rode them, that means there is a way to do it. Magic? A warg? You've made this research a priority right? Since the dragons are the only real advantage you have?
Dany: *blink*
Tyrion: Then what have you been doing!?
Daario: Hi there

Well, the series is partly inspired by the Wars of the Roses...
Of course, the Lancasters and Yorks didn't have to worry about a horde of zombies pouring south of Hadrian's Wall ![]()

where do you think the author is going with Arya's story? I know shes being turned into an assassin, but..it feels so disjointed from the rest of the story. It might as well be a mini series on its own, a sidestory cut from the book to satisfy the 'what-ever-happened' curiosities of the fans.

I'm fairly sure she's going to be coming back to westeros, with the skills of the faceless men and a long, long hit list. She'll probably be shaking up the polotics in westeros in her own special way. Mostly in the form of dead powerful people.
I really don't think she's got it in her to be a true servant of the many faced god because that would require her to abandon her loves, attachments and, most importantly of all, her revenge. And shes got too much fire in her to just let that go.
Or at least that's my wild guess anyway.
It probably wasn't really "acting" for him, stuff like this is probably a regular occurrence in Bulgaria.
Well not really, it's rare for bulgarian actors to be part of american productions and Game of Thrones is huge! One of the few very famous bulgarians who are known in US is Nina Dobrev, so we, bulgarians always root for our people
Thoughts on the episode - freakin' intense. I don't know if any of those wildling stuff happened in the book, but it was scary. Especially the very end when they woke up. I think it was good episode, but I still wonder how will things happen for Sansa, because I think the book was better. Also I just loved the dialogue between Daenerys and Tyrion. Of course poor Ser Friendzone didn't get out of it, again. When I think about it, she is even younger in the books, so I just don't know how to feel about that... xD
